Top Komolac Hotel Reviews
Hotel Lapad
10/10 Excellent
"Loved the location, and staff were so helpful and friendly. Hotel had a lovely, relaxing outside space round the pool. There was a really nice pool bar where you could get drinks and also great food if you didn't have the dinner buffet included in your package. They had good bus options but we walked into old town which was approx 35mins and very straightforward. The hotel is about a 10 min walk to sunset beach and there were plenty of bars and restaurants in that area, as well as along the road the hotel is on."
Sun Gardens Dubrovnik
10/10 Excellent
"Clean comfy room, good mattress, awful pillows. great A/C, open walk-in shower room much better than tub like shower. Breakfast buffet was good variety but lots of flies on food and bees/wasps attack (not sting) the food as soon as you sit on the terrace. Stunning beach with multiple entry points. Great sunbeds with foldable head shade! Pools are beautiful, Marina on the west end is the best with incredible view. The Butchers Grill was a tasty send-off our last night. It's all about the beach and it was terrific. Only drawback is its not close to anything except small town of Zaton, everything else far and ubers are frustratingly expensive. Terrific bakery right up the property across the street. Make sure you DONT get a room on 2nd floor, concrete rock drought tolerant slab blocks more than 1/2 your seaview! We were relocated after repeated requests to third floor away from this slab, and we were very happy didnt want to come back. Even in September it was crowded we couldnt believe it, but property is like village with residency side, so big you never feel crowded. Rooms have expensive minibar, but they allow you to take their drinks out and out your own without charge."

"Place was amazing great views The only thing was the tried to move us to another hotel 3 days before, ridiculous , we had a wedding there and we said no . So apart from that place as awesome but I won’t be comeback for that reason they tried to move us"
President Hotel, Valamar Collection

"The property was well kept and you never have to leave. Everything you need is readily available. Staff is helpful and personable."
Hotel Kompas
8/10 Good
"Beautiful hotel and convenient location Was a little disappointed with our room as we booked a room with a balcony expecting some sort of view. Sadly we looked out onto a brick wall. Not sure why a balcony was advertised as it had no appeal and no use"
Hotel Croatia
8/10 Good
"The rooms have been renovated and are very nice, and the facilities are generally very good. The WiFi is terrible, it’s fine sitting in reception but barely worked in the room at all, that should be an easy fix. There aren’t enough beds at the pool and beaches for the number of rooms and despite the rules people still reserve them making it a pain. The golf carts down to town were a really good service and it’s near to lots of great restaurants, boat trips etc"
Rixos Premium Dubrovnik
8/10 Good
"Wonderful six night stay in a fourth floor sea view suite. My butler Alexa was excellent as was the service received by all the staff. The view from my room was epic. But the views from almost anywhere in the hotel were fabulous. The gym was very good and not oversubscribed. There never was an issue getting a lounger. The breakfast buffet was outstanding. The dinners in various restaurants and the room service were of high quality but a bit overpriced even for a luxury hotel. The wine selection by the glass was good. Appreciated that the hotel had a sports bar. The sea view suite was gorgeous but marred by a musty smell of mildew and mold which became apparent early on during the stay. When I discovered the source of the water leak causing the odor, the hotel acted swiftly to try and remedy the situation. The smell was particularly bad by rooms 1422-24. I was assured that new carpet was on order and new air conditioning was being installed. Were it not for this inconvenience I would rate this hotel five stars. I have spent 200 to 250 nights on travel the past 30 years, many nights in top luxury hotels around the world. This is an outstanding hotel."
Valamar Tirena Hotel
8/10 Good
"Pleasant staff, happy hour lasts about 5hrs, rooms were excellent, pool was a bit busy/noisy with kids but the pool in the sister hotel next door was great. Beach ok 5 mins down the hill. Shopping precinct directly next door with a few touristy shops and a couple of restaurants which were decent. Mini mart on site until late, not pricey. Bus stop into Dubrovnik Old Town at the top of the drive €2.5 (it gets busy but not many people on it by that stop - takes 20 mins) Seemed like a pretty good hotel for the price."
Hotel Excelsior
10/10 Excellent
"Swimming here right off the hotel deck into the Adriatic was amazing and the view from breakfast. Very nice"
