Nice beach villa,1 min walk to the beach. A bit run down though. A/c in one of the rooms very noisy. Nevertheless, enjoyed our stay there and would definitely recommend others to stay here.

I really enjoyed my stay here at Villa Tanamera. The room was very spacious and very comfortable. It was well furnished and equipped with everything we needed during the time we stayed there. The pool was very cool & refreshing, if you didn't feel like swimming in the pool you literally had the beach 30 metres away out slide the villa gates. It is so close to the airport with airport terminal being 5 minutes away. The staff were so friendly & helpful as well. I Would definitely stay here again if I was in Koh Samui & I would recommend staying here for first timers

Sehr schöne Villen am Strand

Super freundlicher Empfang. Die gebuchte Seaview-Villa war riesig und die Aussicht nicht zu toppen. Ja, es fliegen tatsächlich in unmittelbarer Nähe die Flieger ein und aus, aber das weiß man vorher und das ist auch nicht wirklich störend, sondern eher spektakulär. Gegenüber gibt es ein hervorragendes und günstiges Lokal mit einer kleinen Auswahl an authentischen Gerichten für den Mittagssnack. Frühstück im Tanamera ist mit Kaffee, etwas Obst, Toast und Croissants oder Cornflakes sehr einfach, aber absolut ausreichend. Alles in allem sehr empfehlenswert!

Crusty urine stains on toilet, dirty cloudy pool, dust on fan, noisy air con, checked out after 20 minutes, breakfast was printed on an a4 page consisting of a choice of 3 cereals or toast. Very old and run down. When checking out all lady could say is no refund

Best vacation we've ever had!

My wife and I spent 16 days in Tanamera. We looked for a place to stay that could offer us an hotel service, on the beach, closed to everything and yet distant enough from all the touristic rumble. Villa Tanamera is a special place. Marvelous staff (Ooy the manager!!) that will provide you anything you could ever wish from a 5 star type of hotel service, with a natural smile and the most generous predisposition towards this simple idea: you are more than welcome to Thailand, to this island, in a two-ways respectful relationship, and the staff of the hotel will make all the effort to keep you having this amazing cultural and relaxing experience. The surroundings of the hotel are just mind blowing! Beautiful garden, facing a long sandy beach without many people and is also a charming path to other small resorts where you can enjoy live music dinners. The Villa Tanamera is very quite and secluded but just a stone throw from the street filled with local life, and one amazing market where you can buy a rich full of fresh fish and choose between a colorful offer of fresh greens and fruits. For someone who enjoys a couple of home made meals during their holidays this is a piece of heaven on hearth. And Villa Tanamera offers you a full kitchen set in their spaces. We loved to walked along the beach going to the market and back again carrying our lunch and soaking our feet in that warm sea water and watching the fishermen working on their typical thai crafts.

Perfect little home away from home

We've just come back from 9 days at Villa Tanamera. It was absolutely perfect and just what we needed. We had a poolside villa which was spacious and well appointed (although some things needed repair) looking out over the pool and the gardens. My boys loved the outdoor bathroom and the millions of channels on the TV! The place was quiet and relaxing and the location right on the beach (with two very sweet resident massage ladies!) was gorgeous. Villa Tanamera is a bit away from the main action of Koh Samui, but for our family it was perfect - it was a quick taxi ride into Bophut for a bit more activity and Aoy (Ollie!!!), the manager was more than happy to help organise transport and car hire and tour options. My boys loved coming home everyday and telling her all about our island adventures and they gave serious consideration to staying with her! Breakfast each morning was simple but really filling. The gardens were beautiful and the boys loved hunting for various wildlife. It is close to the airport and the planes can be quite noisy when they come and go, but it really wasn't an issue as they stop by 10 pm and Koh Samui airport isn't really that busy. Villa Tanamera isn't fancy and doesn't have all the services of a five star resort but that isn't what we were looking for - we wanted something a little bit closer to a true taste of the island. I would absolutely recommend it to young families like ours. Thanks so much Aoy and all the staff at Villa Tanamera.

Beautiful little resort. Individual units with kitchen. Tiny beach spot--but lovely. We were just here one night on our way to another island and chose this spot based on its location to the airport. It was very convenient (so convenient the planes are flying right over your head!) I would return in the future.

Small and nice, feels like you are at home

Great experience! Small but peaceful place inside and we loved the ability to walk onto to the beach at any time. Great sunset, especially if you are staying at the beachfront villas (where we stayed). Staff members were super nice. This is not a fancy place but was perfect for our trip.

Everything is good except breakfast. Their breakfast is pretty small. A Tiny littel bread and drink that's all. I wonder who is going to be full this amount. Of course the staff want me to pay additional money for other menu. To be honest they shouldn't say "Breakfast includes" on the online travel web site. It's not normal amount. Also depends on the staff different dining service.

Schönes Hotel direkt am Strand

Wir haben noch um Mitternacht im Pool gebadet. Das Frühstück war auch sehr gut und das Team sehr freundlich. Wir waren schon zum zweiten Mal hier und würden bei einem Aufenthalt auf Koh Samui immer wieder hier buchen.

Hotel in Flughafennähe

Das Hotel macht einen sehr guten Eindruck und das Personal war sehr freundlich. Wir waren eigentlich in Koh Phangan im Urlaub und hatten das Hotelzimmer nur für die letzte Nacht vorm Abflug gebucht, weil so früh morgens keine Fähre von Koh Phangan nach Koh Samui ging. Da unser Zimmer direkt an der Straße war und das eine Fenster nicht richtig zu ging war es sehr laut. Von daher würde wir für einen längeren Aufenthalt unbedingt empfehlen eine der nach hinten zum Strand rausgehenden Villen/Studios zu buchen. Ansonsten war das Zimmer sehr schön und geräumig mit ner praktischen Küchenzeile.

A FUIR !! avions, hôtel, quartier, proprio !!

Les photos mises par l'hôtelier étaient top, la réalité est tout autre (regardez les photos des particuliers...) les abords de la piscine ne sont pas faits, on déjeune (ou plutôt on est servi de manière pas très aimable d'ailleurs au minimum... une petite assiette de fruits pour 5 et pas de supplément possible ! si on veut un 2ème café il faut le payer alors que nous étions 5 et que 3 d'entre nous n'avaient pas pris de boisson chaude !?) sans compter les mouches !! une porte fenêtre qui ferme à peine (un coup suffirait pour l'ouvrir) les avions qui passent juste au dessus de nos têtes donc très bruyants un quartier pas très sympa et pas très propre sans compter les travaux juste à côté (ça la propriétaire n'y est pour rien certes... nous avions réservé 5 nuits ! au bout de 2 nuits j'ai essayé de négocier au moins un remboursement partiel mais la propriétaire n'a rien voulu savoir : nous avons donc dû payer cet hôtel + un autre pour nos 3 nuits restantes Propriétaire pas sympa du tout, qui visiblement pense bien plus à l'argent qu'au bien être de ses clients !!! A FUIR !!!

Great place to stay for a family

We are a family of 4 with 2 teenage children and we stayed for 8 days during a 3 week holiday in Thailand in August and loved every moment of our stay.The bungalow on the beach was fantastic, very spacious and with a lovely decking area. The grounds and pool were beautifully kept. The breakfast was good. Nice sandy beach just outside our room complete with excellent Thai massage. All the hotel staff were excellent with a particular mention for Aoy the resident manager who looked after us, helped us sorting out trips and activities and just made us feel so welcome.

Perfect holiday

The hotel manager, Aoy, was very helpful and professional and spoke perfect english. She organised trips for us and gave us good advice on where to eat and visit. The hotel location on the beach was beautiful with a view to the neighbouring island of Koh Phanghan. We were in beach view 1 and the thai massage ladies had their table on the beach outside. They were very friendly and gave a lovely hour long massage for less than £5. The pool area was lovely and a great place to relax. We spent a lovely relaxing nine nights here and have nothing negative to say about the place. Only happy memories.

요리가 가능하고 직원이 친절하다

직원이 굉장히 친절하다. 조식은 8시부터라 오전투어가 있는 날은 먹을 수가 없다. 다만 길건너 식당은 이용가능하다. 마치 한국의 펜션같다. 커피메이커, 전기주전자, 전자레인지, 가스레인지,토스터기, 냉장고,냄비, 그릇..요리가 가능하다. 더불에 근처에 편의점과 과일가게도 있다. 걸어서 5분이내 거리..방이 두개 화장실도 두개나 있다. 하지만 화장실 하나는 천정이 뚫린 밖이고 하나는 창이 밖과 연결되어 있고, 나무문,창문 사이에 틈이 있어 모기약은 필수로 챙겨야한다.
