Best Value in Samui...

I rate this littlle hotel 5 stars. Ok...it's actually 3 stars, but the value is exceptional. After all, good luck finding a clean, spacious and comfortable hotel room with cable TV, wifi, a decent/large bed, a hot water shower, no pests, a refrigerator, air conditioning and a private bathroom for $17 usd or less in Samui during high season. The Icon is a great value...and the hotel is only 10 minutes away from 'party central' in Lamai..if you have a motorbike or car. There was a little bit of road noise, but it was very tolerable. At night, it's quiet. There is a Tesco Lotus Express within a 2 minute walk. There was no safe in the room...but I wasn't complaining. For $17 usd per night, how can you possibly complain about anything?! Thank you to the Icon for a very good and affordable stay!

La chambre n'est pas celle que nous avions réservée. Le coin salon n'existe pas et le balcon est très petit mais de toute façon inutilisable : absence de table et chaises L'hotel est vraiment très isolé et donc la location d'un scooter est indispensable. Proximité d'un seven eleven et d'un tesco lotus mais très loin de toute animation. Chambre et salle de bains propres : Le ménage est fait tous les jours si l'on passe par expédia Pas de satellite --> pas de Chaines françaises Nous avons du prolonger notre séjour de 5 jours , mais le réceptionniste n'a pas voulu nous délivrer de facture.

Viibisime hotellis kokku kaheksa päeva, jäime hotelliga väga rahule kuna, oleme ise liikuvad ja kasutame tavaliselt hotelli ainult pesemiseks ja magamiseks, seetõttu oli hotell meile sobilik, kuna asus saare keskel, põhjapool on palju kaubandust, lõunas aga palju ilusaid ja rahulikke randu. Hotelli hinna ja kvaliteet on kindlasti paigas, ei soovita kui tahta hotellist otse randa.

Amazing value for money .. fair way away from main bars n club.. but the taxi and tuk tuk are always passing by.. little bit pricy thou... forget late night nothing about and the tuk tuk are not always wanting to bring you back... so private taxi ... but no drinks or loud music

Big room, great price, but a little far...

We were surprised at the size of the rooms (and the almost full sized fridge). Good working AC, blackout drapes, and a little balcony that was nice to hang stuff to dry. Bathroom was a little gross with a moldy shower and sink, but other than that the rest of the room was spotless. Our balcony did overlook the street, so it was a little loud at times, but not unbearable. Location is kind of far from where everything is happening, but if you rent a scooter it's not too bad. Overall we were happy with the price we paid for a big AC room. Oh, but none of the locals recognized it, or knew where it was located, so make sure you have a map with the correct address.

Caring and friendly staff

Staff was super friendly. Since I arrived late at night I was able to check out a little bit later the following day. They also took care of me as of the scooter I rented. Confortable bed, nice room, 2 decent size water bottles in the fridge the only down side was the cleanlinest of the toilet and shower. Otherwise the rest was pretty good!

value for money

stayed for 7 days but extended by another 5 as I found it very comfortable having a private balcony.. good security with touch key entry system... shops very close by 7/11 and Tesco lotus..however there are only 4 rooms with the balcony facing the forresty type of view with lots of coconut trees.. the front is facing the road where the traffic and public noise is heard being the only road that goes from one side of the island to the other.. night life is a 10 minute ride by tuk tuk more hectic and with more to do is 30 mins away..which are at times 15 min wait

El hotel es un edificio relativamente nuevo, por lo mismo esta en buenas condiciones, esta un poco alejado de las playas (4 km de Lamai y 14 km de Chaweng), por lo que es conveniente arrendar una moto para moverse dentro de la isla, en el mismo hotel las arriendan por 200 THB diarios en los alrededores se puede comprar gasolina por 40 THB/lt.

Tidy place 5 km from lamai Beach/township

Tidy place - good people - they should have a couple of Motorbikes to rent or organise some sort of a Taxi service to places that Hotels usually can deliver. Their inhouse Service is ok. Hotel is on a main Road so a bit noisy. But all up good value for money.

good hotel

In the middle of a small village (which was nice- away from the craziness of the other more popular beaches nearby), but I would definitely recommend renting a scooter (aka you need to). I have a serious allergy to dust (I can get asthmatic in really bad circumstances), but this hotel was CLEAN with clean sheets (which might have been switched to giant towels after the first housekeeping, but we didn't mind). Super hot, powerful showers and a small balcony with another tap to wash your feet after a long day at the beach. Pretty awesome IMO for what it was. Obv not a 5 star resort or anything, but thats obvious for the price. I would definitely stay there again

Неплохой отель

Первое, на карте неверно отмечена точка, где находится отель. Пришлось очень долго его искать ( сначала нужно было найти интернет, а потом гуглить и смотреть на других сайтах где же все таки он находится) Сам отель неплохой, просторный номер и душевая комната, есть балкон, но далеко от всей тусовки. Находится он на главной кольцевой дороге, поэтому очень шумно.
