Pictures on website are very deceptive

The hotel room was a lot smaller than pictured so it was very deceptive. The aircon hummed very loudly which made it hard to sleep and it also pumped out damp smelling air which aggregated my asthma. The bed was noisy and very uncomfortable, as were the pillows. The music in the corridor played loudly - thankfully it was switched off at night. The hotel itself was very dated and not at all modern like pictured.

河口湖の近くで、窓からは富士山が目の前に見えて立地、景観とも非常にな良かった！ 部屋も綺麗にされており、風呂付の部屋で24時間掛け流し、夕飯も個室のため他のお客さん様と会う事もなくゆっくり食事が出来満足でした。 朝食もバイキングでしたが品数もあり美味しかったです、 もう少し料金が安ければもう一度行きたいと思います。

一人旅には素晴らしい場所

5階にある大浴場から、富士山が一望できて、とても感動しました。清潔感、質、設備に関しては気になるようなことは無く。ストレス無く過ごすことができました。 場所に関しては、河口湖駅から少し遠いです。歩いて15分くらいかと。

Ooike Hotel review - April 2018

Ooike Hotel was fantastic. We stayed in a traditional Japanese room and it was very large and comfortable. The outdoor public baths were fantastic. Really beautiful. The only thing is that this hotel is not very close to anything. It’s about 15min walk from the station and on the opposite side of the lake. There are not many restaurants nearby that open early or late so you really have to plan. Also, the local bus only runs until 5pm and can be very crowded, so you really need to plan your departure and arrivals every day. Other than that, we had a beautiful Mt Fuji view room.

部屋から富士山の姿を楽しめました

河口湖畔に近い普通の旅館ですが、サービスがしっかりしていて、全体として満足です。富士山が部屋の正面に見えます。五階のお風呂からも。天気次第ですけれど、雲が晴れていくと、とても気持ちがいい。温泉は無色無臭ですが、かなりポカポカあたたまりました。到着時も出発するときも、玄関にスタッフが複数待機していて、足の悪い老母の乗降を手伝ってくださるなど、親切にしていただきました。建物は古いのかもしれませんが、部屋もお風呂も清潔。ベッドのある部屋に泊まりましたがトイレも広くて快適でした。富士山が見える窓の前にソファがあり、和室が苦手な母もここに座って富士山を楽しみました。車イス仕様ということだと思いますが、ドアがスライド式で、鍵穴がかなり下の方にあるため、廊下が暗くて見えにくく、これだけは毎回ちょっと苦労しました。朝食は地下食堂で、バイキング。階段以外にも、本館からエレベーターを乗り換えても行けました。

寛げる心がこもったもてなしをしてくれる宿

両親と子供達と3世代で伺いました。 ホテルスタッフの皆さんの対応は、心がこもっていてとても良かったです。 露天風呂つきの和洋室に宿泊しましたが、早く寝る両親と夜更かしをする子供達それぞれに部屋で楽しめました。 お料理も大変美味しくいただきました。 富士山側のお部屋ということで、富士山は美しく部屋から見えました。 河口湖の散策、観光名所へのアクセスともにとても良いです。

有些失望，性價比低

下雪了鞋全濕，職員只按本子未夠三點入住，不提供任何服務，很失望。下午回來入住職員卻熱情勤快！日式房舊，發現冨士山景沒必要，十點退房霧未散，三月裏的大睛天，大大的富士山隨時隨地可見。很喜歡地下的露天溫泉，另一亮點是日式自助早餐不錯。地處湖邊走入一分鍾路口，冇湖景，可乘紅色及綠色線。走15分鐘到纜車。（另乘船不建議，反正坐紅線在湖邊看更美）。晚餐日式料理要每位補五千多至七千多日元，在早餐一樣的地牢食堂格局用餐，覺得不值得，沒有吃，到對面的意大利餐廳吃意粉不錯。下次會考慮湖邊連送房裏吃的料理，算起來只貴它一點....

One of the best onsen unblocked fuji view hotel

Hotel staff is very helpful.location is absolutely good for access to ropeway and leisure boat cruise and sightseeing bus location. Shuttle bus sevice available for pick up at kawaguchiko station, however such details should be made know to guest. This may attract guest who feel that the place is very accessible. Some potential hotel seekers may avoid bookin ooike hotel due to location far from station.
