"The house was, very clean and well decorated; furniture and carpets were sumptuous and kitchen has most things we needed, including a lovely well stocked Nespresso machine, a welcome basket with 2 packets of crisps and 2 single packets of biscuits. The issues we had was there was no shelving in the shower to add toiletries, no toilet roll holders and no towel holders and nowhere to put your clothes whilst showering. "It was very nice, only criticism I’d have is we arrived 10 mins late for breakfast which we’d paid for, so were told they missed it 😔they hadn’t even finished clearing away and considering they serve food all day, I’d have thought they could of offered us something rather than recommend a cafe by the river, so a bit disappointing on that score."

"If this isn’t the most expensive place in town, it must be pretty close. We were lucky, we feel, to get a room in the modern extension. It was a corner room and remarkable. The girl at the front desk tried to upgrade us for money and with her accent I couldn’t quite understand what the benefit to a different room would have been. It is hard for me to imagine a bedroom at this hotel. We used the spa and it is quite lovely and recently redone. However, a few of the features were not in operation, which was only slightly disappointing. I had a massage that was quite average, unfortunately. I’m glad I booked it with the hot stones. Otherwise I would’ve felt the benefit was not worth the money. I wasn’t expecting a sports massage, but this was too light to touch for my tastes. The restaurants and bars are all good to go. The hotel is on the “other” side of the river and I am of the belief this made for a quieter stay. You are a 10-15 minute walk from the center of the action. Nigel at the concierge was a top man."

"Fantastic stay in Leeds. The room was lovely and clearly very well maintained, and the reception team were warm and helpful throughout. The only slight hiccup was at checkout, when a large meeting downstairs spilled into the foyer and made navigating to the front desk with luggage a bit of an obstacle course. That aside, a brilliant hotel that I would happily recommend."

"Lovely long weekend away. Excellent location about a 20-minute walk from the station. Really close to York Barbicon if you are going to see a concert.Staff were wonderful.The hotel provided a hearty breakfast which was included. The room was spotlessly cleaned and room cleaning came well in the afternoon so wasn’t intrusive.There is an endless supply of tea.We were drinking in the bar one night,there seemed no closing time and when they found out about our anniversary they gave us a free round of drinks - which was totally unexpected and really kind."
