"The Cottage is adorable and was perfect for our family of four. The lake access was incredible; swam, kayaked, and just floated. Close enough to towns for an easy trip with plenty of time left in the day to enjoy the house. Hosts were great too!"

"Wonderful VRBO house. Jackie was very attentive and proactive with communication. A tree branch fell during our stay and it was cleaned up immediately! Very clean and impressively stocked house. Absolutely loved the dock and beach. Can’t wait to come back!"

"Spa is amazing with excellent staff. Would highly recommend everyone visit and have a relaxing day at the spa. However, the restaurants connected with the hotel are okay at best. The fine dining restaurant was okay & had decent food, yet nothing wowed me it really missed the mark for excellent food at a fine dining restaurant. The pub restaurant was good, anything with brisket is excellent but again some of the other choices are missing components that could make the food really good. I had the artichoke and shrimp salad and was looking forward to something different, but it was just blah, it needs a better dressing and maybe feta cheese or something else added to bring the salad together. Staff were excellent at the pub."

"Really enjoyed our stay! Met the owners and they were very nice to chat with. My daughter in her Kayak nearly caught brown trout that was around 30". Unfortunately it broke her line as she tried to get it in the Kayak. Varick is the prettiest location along Cayuga Lake. As an older guy with some serios medical issues it would have been nice to a bath/toilet on the first floor as it was difficult to climb the stairs to get to the two full beautiful bathrooms upstairs."

"Very nice place to stay. Could use some updating. Plenty of room for a large group. We had 6 adults and 4 kids under the age of 8. There was a lot of board games to play and a game room with a pool table, ping pong and darts. Not the best but usable."

"We had a wonderful time… the location, view, lake access and heated pool is definitely 5 star! The living room space was lovely as well as the master bedroom. The house is very large with plenty a space to spread out.The house itself could use some repairs: floor tile grout loose in kitchen and living room, the non primary bedroom on main floor didn’t get cool enough for sleeping, the bathroom water on lower level was sporadic going from warm to too hot. The management company was responsive to our needs. There was 10 of us and after a few cold showers we started spacing showers out so we could all get warm to hot showers.Suggestions amenities:A guidebook for rentals would be great A few sofa blankets in the living room More than one large towel and a wash rag for each guest- 2 large towels would be perfect a personAgain this is a great place and we had an awesome time."
