Situated conveniently off US 101, it offers effortless access to the majestic redwoods of national park, as well as pristine beaches overlooking a picturesque meadow. Nestled within Chinook RV Resort, it promises a tranquil escape. Please be aware this cabin is designated as pet-free, and pets are not permitted.

We would like to welcome you to Chinook RV Resort. We would like to invite you to come and stay with us as you travel along the famous Highway 101 through the Redwood Forest. There are warm lake-front fires in the evenings where we would like to meet you and welcome you to our park.

Beautiful camper, nice location in the park, town amenities are lacking

The camper is very nice and comes with all the basics you need for a short stay. The camper is well maintained and the bed is very comfortable. The laundry is a shared facility in the campground (which does not have a coin/change maker and the machines only accepts quarters). The camper is located in the closest site to the river and has unobstructed views of the river- definitely the nicest site in the park. The town does not have a lot to offer. We arrived around 8pm and the casino restaurant was closed. The only other food option was the gas station, so we were able to cook a basic dinner in the camper (using the microwave and toaster). Check-in and checkout were very easy.
