Sometimes, if luck should have it, a school of porpoises may entertain you while you enjoy the deck or the sandy beach- that is a minutes walk across Virginia Dare Trail. Access to a public beach, with a bath house is less right up to street. If you decide to enjoy a good meal, numerous restaurants are within a short distance, as are fishing piers and the World's famous John's Drive In (historically know for its dolphin (fish not porpoise) sandwich and boat. Enjoy the enclosed, outdoor shower and covered patio underneath the house.
