BEAUTIFUL ULTRA CLEAN SPACIOUS ROOM FULL BATH NEAR OCEAN & BAY IN KITTY HAWK NC

Our room is available for NON-SMOKERS ONLY...ALL CARPET HAS BEEN REMOVED AND NEW LUXURY FLOORING INSTALLED. Guests will feel right at home in this fully furnished spacious bedroom with separate full bath and shower. This beautiful room is located on the ground floor of our personal residence and is the ONLY room we have listed with VRBO. Our master bedroom is located on the third floor and just the two of us live in this home. Guests enter through a private side door leading directly to the bedroom and bathroom. Ample free parking adjacent to side door. The spacious bedroom has a large queen-sized bed comfortable for sleeping 2 people. The bedroom has an extra large closet with lots of shelving for all your vacation necessities, ceiling fan/light, mini refrigerator, microwave and Cuisinart coffee maker with all the condiments. We have FIRESTICK TV, HIGHSPEED WIFI, books, games, two bikes and one surfboard. The property is just minutes away from the sound, ocean and all the best attractions and guests are sure to get a true Outer Banks experience. This room is located in a 3200 square foot all brick custom built home situated on one acre of land in the Kitty Hawk Maritime Forest. Elijah Baum is not a through street so always peaceful and quiet in this residential neighborhood that is minutes away from all the hustle and bustle. Week days are an opportune time to visit the Outer Banks and avoid the weekend traffic. IN OUR TRAVELS ON OUR YACHT AND IN OUR MOTOR HOME WE HAVE FOUND LOCAL KNOWLEDGE IS THE BEST...WE ARE HERE TO PROVIDE ANSWERS TO YOUR QUESTIONS!

Land and park your airplane at the Wright Brothers Airport (Small Planes) and we will pick you up. We are just minutes away.

If fishing is your thing we have room available in our home freezer for your catch to keep it frozen until you are ready to depart.

The Outer Banks hosts four major running events each year. They are Storm The Beach, Outer Banks TRI, Outer Banks Marathon and Half Marathon.

Nice place in a quiet neighborhood but close to restaurants, shops and the beach. Their home was clean and had private entrance to our room. 3 piers are close by and we enjoyed fishing as will as sightseeing.

Mike and Jane have a great place in a great location. It was close to the beach and the main road that had everything we needed for our long weekend trip. They were super nice and had great suggestions for us. The room was nice and clean and just the right amount of space we needed. We would definitely recommend staying here!

Mike and Jane were excellent hosts. The house was incredibly clean and comfortable. They answered any questions we had and were very helpful. We had a wonderful Labor Day Weekend with them! Can’t wait to visit again!

The room was exactly as expected in relation to the write up on the website. Jane and Mike were the most gracious hosts and gave us many ideas of things to do when our plans got rained out. Staying with the Ross's was a pleasure and look forward to future stays in OBX.

Mike and Jane are very good and helpful hosts. My wife and I stayed a week so that we could canvas the OBX and surrounding area. Our days were full so it was very appreciated that we had quiet and accomodative room when we returned each evening. This single room fits the bill and is very clean and in a quiet neighborhood well off the beaten path.

Everything was very clean and well organized. Jane and Mike were very helpful and friendly...my husband is a Marine veteran and enjoyed talking to Mike,,a Navy veteran. It was in a very quiet neighborhood but close to the beach and numerous shopping areas,restaraunts and recreation and attractions.We enjoyed a very restful, comfortable and quiet stay.

Well equipped with a homey feel

This property was perfect for our 4 day vacation. Mike and Jane are wonderful hosts and make you feel very much at home. You can tell they love meeting people and welcoming them into their home to enjoy the Outer Banks. Great Stay!!!

Super hosts who met us on arrival to show us around and answered any questions immediately such as places to eat and things to do. They also rustled up some decaf coffee for us. Everything was well stocked and it was very cozy and comfy. It is very comforting that the bath has grab bars and a rubber mat. The location is in a wonderful neighborhood with big tall trees and lots of green but still close to a main artery for good access to everything. An added plus is that there are fire/police stations right round the corner.

Friendly and Helpful hosts. Very Clean

Hosts were attentive to our needs. Welcoming and kind. Bed was comfortable and had all we needed. Past reviews mentioned the curtain separating the space from the main house. This is true, but there is a door on the bedroom. We felt comfortable and safe. Nice neighborhood. Great recommendations from hosts for restaurants. Lovely.

Loved It!!!

My children and I enjoyed it so much. The location was great. Mike and Jane are terrific people. The room was very clean and spacious. It was exactly what we wanted. It was an a beautiful neighborhood and a beautiful house. They were great hosts. When we come back we will definitely be staying here. Mike and Jane great Christians and they are very sweet for opening their house.

Immaculately clean, convenient location and perfect hosts in Kitty Hawk, Outer Banks N.C.!

I've wanted to visit the Outer Banks my whole life, so when my 30th wedding anniversary rolled around I knew it was finally time. While looking for accommodations I came across Mike and Jane's property and booked it. It was absolutely perfect! Mike and Jane are gracious hosts who made us feel welcome and very safe, offering their availability if needed yet we had complete privacy. They even added a personal touch for our anniversary. Everything is sparkling clean and you have every amenity a hotel room has. The location was perfect for exploring the Outer Banks. Definitely one of the best places I've ever stayed in. I highly recommend! Thank you Mike and Jane for a memorable Outer Banks stay!!

super clean and quiet

Jane and Mike were wonderful and so communicative about the entire check-in process prior as well as during with suggestions. the location is supreme in our opinion -- right off the main beaten track with all the craziness yet in a quiet neighborhood. we loved that ease and getting away from the huge OBX crowds and traffic. One thing to know is that there is really no place we were told about to sit outside for any reason, eg a deck or lawn or otherwise, so you are in a room for those times you stay indoors. meaning this is likely fine for a weekend or maybe long weekend, but perhaps not for a longer stay. Also, you are separated from the owners' common space by a curtain, which is fine enough except if you are sensitive to noises or smells you will smell their meal prep and hear them watching TV. The fridge and microwave were a nice touch, and they are always ready to give you some other utensil or help you may need. always ready to help and so friendly. another nice friendly touch! we'd go back!

Friendly and attentive

We were met in the driveway before we had even popped the trunk. Mike and Jane greeted us with warm smiles and handshakes, and showed us where everything was. We had a separate entrance to ourselves, so we could come and go as we pleased. The room itself was so cute! Everything was clean and orderly. There is a table for two, mini fridge, coffee maker, and microwave. There is a small tv and a huge closet.They had the OBX magazines with the coupons in them set out, the keys were on the table, as well as the wi-fi password. The bathroom was just a few steps from the room, and also very clean. Mike and Jane were fantastic hosts. They were friendly, down to earth, and quite helpful. Don’t be afraid to ask for anything. The room was a little warm for me and they immediately cooled it down when I mentioned it. The person who stayed before us thought it was too cool, so they had adjusted for her. We didn’t have any set plans when we got there, and they jumped in with suggestions. The location is great! It is in a very quiet neighborhood and is really close to the beach and tons of places to eat, etc. We really enjoyed our stay and couldn’t be happier with their beautiful home.
