The rooms were basic, I recommend putting a kettle in the room, as there was nowhere to get a hot drink. The bar should be open in the evening for guest arriving late; as we had to beg & plead for a drink; it should also be open during the day, so that guest can it & have a drink on departure day, if they have a late flight! The lady in the morning was very nice & plesent she didn't rush us out of the dining room. Overall it is an idea base; however it is a short distance to Levi centre.

Clean room and hotel. Comfortable bed. Great breakfast. make sure you get a confirmation of your key placement if you are arriving after business hours. I don’t think Expedia did a good job communicating or something. Twice I wrote via Expedia that I was getting there after hours and still didn’t get the keys placed where it was supposed to be.

Staff are friendly and helpful. The sauna is a bonus which is open 6-9pm. Breakfast was included which again is a bonus if you’re up in time (7-9 weekdays, 8-10 weekends). There isn’t much to do in the area - what would have been useful would be some additional information on where to go nearby for sledging, maps etc. the hotel does rent equipment but seems to be for adults rather than children. We had a family room which was adequate (we weren’t planning on spending time in it other than to sleep) but would’ve been good if the tv had other channels to watch in the evening (it was all Finnish speaking programmes other than an old episode of Emmerdale Farm for some reason). The room could have been made to feel cosier especially in a family room if you want to try and get your kids to bed at a reasonable time. Our room had a light switch that didn’t switch any lights on so again would’ve been useful if the bedside lights had worked. The shower we had to make sure we used the bath mat because the water came out from under the shower screen - not an issue but would be better if the floor didn’t get so wet. There’s a handy bus stop right out the front, details on the buses would’ve been helpful or a bus timetable. Instead I googled it so we had the info (tip: it’s substantially cheaper to book your bus tickets online than pay when you travel) and the bus can take you to the airport and into Levi which is the main centre where there is so much more to do.
