Amazing place. Has everything you need in the room whether it’s towels, coffee, utensils, cups, robes etc. Air conditioner works so well. Shampoo and body wash provided. Room is spacious and comfy. Check in was definitely a unique one haha you have to enter the bar to get your keys from bartender. Not sure why this hotel is rated as 1 star honestly.

Check in/out was so easy, previous communication with the property was courteous and efficient. The hotel itself is such a wonderful experience and although we didn't end up using the kitchenette to cook it was such a nice option to have. Dinner at the restaurant was great, our server was friendly and seemed to enjoy her job. Overall the price for our stay and dinner was great too! Can’t wait to come back next time we visit the Guelph area!

The Suite was very nice and unique. Its a modern update to a building over 100 years old. The suite was clean and had all the amenities we needed. However the outside of building was filthy and due to Construction all around the area it was hard to park. It also proved difficult to check in to the hotel suite as the server of the local restaurant/bartender was also the hotel concierge as well. I'm only guessing they may have been understaffed that day but we still got checked in and enjoyed our stay

The rooms are spacious and the room we had was quiet in the night and early morning. Parking is close by at a municipal lot, so OK. The attached restaurant was very acceptable and the food was good, pub style.

Clean, and comfortable. Was not expecting a full size fridge and stove, so it was a nice surprise. AC was great. Parking and construction was a bit of a hassle, but thats beyond their control. The bottles the amenities came in (shampoo, conditioner, lotion) did not dispense properly (difficult to get out of the bottle). Check in and check out was easy.

The location is by all the clubs and bars but the noise level was not disruptive. Clean hotel, and good sized rooms, super.clean. No parking on-site and there are no amenities other than a restaurant attached to the hotel. The fob is a bit tricky when unlocking your room. Sometimes the keypad senses it quickly and sometimes it can take a while, a few mins. That should be reviewed. The attached restaurant is where you check-in and the woman who greeted us was super helpful and she was running the restaurant and check-ins like a pro ( it was her 1st day). We stayed to eat and the food was very good and the service was wonderful. I hope the owners know they have found a gem to work that restaurant. Overall, it was a pleasant stay. I was there for a wedding so I only stayed 1 night. Nice breakfast restaurant and bakery close by as well as other places to eat within walking distance.

Staff was quick and accommodating at check in, instructions for everything was clear. The room was massive and very clean, had everything I could need. Only improvement I would recommend is a Brita jug of some kind for filtered water as the tap water is pretty hard and the fridge filtered water was not in service. Excellent location. Above and beyond for the price of the stay for sure (hotel experience with motel price). Would recommend to others and stay again myself.

I had a great stay at the Western Inn & Suites. The rooms were extremely comfortable and beautifully renovated, and the building itself is clean and inviting. Everything was well-stocked and convenient, making the experience seamless and enjoyable. I would definitely stay here again.

Nice place - totally as advertised. We came in for one night for a show at the River Run and it was perfect. Grab your keys at the bar downstairs and you’re good to go. Parking off site but close and easy.
