Everything was excellent, really nice and peaceful place. The room was exceptionally clean and the outdoor bath was very easy to set up and operate. Bathrooms were clean and well stocked, we had a very relaxing and grounding vacation. Would highly and easily recommend this to anyone. Thank you for making this a lovely stay!

大人だけでの利用がおすすめ

幼稚園児を連れて利用させていただいたのですが、どうにもお寺や歴史のある建物の雰囲気や匂い、置物が怖いようで泣き喚き、残念なことに落ち着いて宿泊することが出来ませんでした。宿泊場所はとても綺麗で、観音院様には何ら問題はございませんが、小さい子供を連れての宿泊は、多少のリスクがあるかもしれません。

きれいで上品なゲストハウスでした

とてもきれいなゲストハウスでした。 共有スペースもありますが、各部屋のプライバシーもきちんと確保でき、過ごしやすかったです。 私が泊まった部屋は、トイレも、バスルームも部屋についていたので、すべての用事が部屋で完結しました。 静かな時間を過ごしたい方にはうってつけです。

内装がとても清潔な宿坊でした。

お寺に泊まれる珍しいスタイルの宿です。 ビジネスホテルや観光旅館とは違うため、基本的には全てセルフサービスとなりますが、困った時は公社に連絡すれば、住職さんが丁寧に対応してくれます。 内装はとてもきれいで床暖房等の防寒も充実していますが、部屋にテレビはなく、お寺への交通の便も良くないため、必ずしも万人ウケする宿泊先でないです。 宿泊の目的やメンバーを考慮して予約することが必要です。

ベッドルーム以外は極寒！ ホテルからの案内もあまりに分かりにくい、セルフとはいえ道は様々な方向からなのでどーにかして欲しい、 部屋に部屋着はなく、風呂行くのにいちいち着替える必要があるし、風呂行くのに見られる廊下を通らないといけない、 ベッドルームはルームって言うほどでもなく、ただカーテンがあって、ガラスのドアを塞いでるが外から丸見えです。

Hidden gem!

We booked a 1 night stay and i must say the place is very cool! Its a mix of traditional Japanese culture and modernism and the owner was super nice! All in all would highly recommend this place!

1人で3泊しました。オープンしたばかりですごく綺麗で清潔なお宿でした。お寺という日常とは違う空間に泊まることができてとても楽しかったです。　　中庭庭園が美しく独り占めが出来てとても贅沢だなぁと思いました、朝の読経も気持ちが良かったです。 お寺に籠って仕事するつもりでしたが最寄り駅はわたらせ渓谷鐵道が走っていたのでしっかり観光も楽しんでしまいましまいました。 丁度土日に年に一度やっているお寺のイベントもあった為それにも参加し、充実のお寺体験となりました！　読経もイベントも強制では無いので自分でどう過ごすか決める事ができます。 ご飯は元々ついていないので周辺のレストランやカフェを利用する形になりますが読経にいらしていた地元の方におススメを聞いたりお寺の方特製のお店マップもあったりして困りませんでした。綺麗な簡易キッチンもついているので好きな形で過ごせるのが私にはとても楽で良かったです。　是非また行きたいのと人にも勧めたいです。桐生駅から歩くと20分くらいです。タクシーでも良いですが街にどんなお店があるかウロウロしながら歩くのも楽しかったです 実は台風19号の日に当たってしまったのですがとても良くして下さり安心して過ごせました、その節はありがとうございました！
