"We had a fantastic last-minute stay at Lidos Breeze and would happily return for a relaxed all-inclusive at a great price. The staff made the experience, especially the Aris, who was incredibly welcoming and attentive throughout our stay.
Breeze has the feel of a smaller family-run hotel, with friendly service, quick resolution of any issues, and thoughtful touches like replenished bottled water and access to a shower room before late flight. Camilla at the pool bar was amazing — great cocktails and fantastic service, and the lifeguard around the Breeze pool was equally friendly and helpful. The Breeze pool area was one of our favourite parts: spotless, peaceful, and with incredibly comfortable sunbeds, quieter than the busier pools elsewhere in the complex. The location is also ideal, with the buffet, lobby bar, and crepe bar just across the road, so you get the best of both worlds. The buffet was good for a large all-inclusive, with plenty of choice and especially good salads, although it could get repetitive. The à la carte restaurants were a nice change, but book early as they fill up quickly. Snack bars were the weakest food option, but we could always find a good lunch back at the buffet. Drinks and service were generally very good, with some standout staff members throughout the resort. We enjoyed the white wine more than red, and cocktails were best when freshly made rather than using the pre-made mixers. The beach is more stones than sand but the sea is beautiful."
Aulus Lindos Rhodes, All-Inclusive Resort, Curio Collection by Hilton
6/10 Okay
"There’s a lot to like about the Aulus Lindos, but after a week we left slightly disappointed. The biggest issue is the gap between the luxury ultra all inclusive 5 star image in the marketing and the reality. No single problem was major, but together they created an experience that never matched expectations.
The standout positive was the staff, who were friendly, hardworking and genuinely helpful throughout. The Italian restaurant manager and sole server deserves particular praise, as does the evening cocktail barman, both of whom somehow kept everything running smoothly despite clearly being overstretched.
The grounds are beautiful and well maintained, with lush greenery and an attractive stream running through the resort. The rooms appear recently refurbished, but the finish felt rushed. Our bathroom still looked dated, with a leaking tap, poorly fitted shower screen and stained bath, while the balcony felt neglected with marked loungers and a dirty hot tub.
Food was decent but not what you’d expect from a luxury resort. Buffets were acceptable, though details like tinned fruit at breakfast felt disappointing. The Italian restaurant was enjoyable but stingy with ingredients, while the Yellow Sea restaurant was poor, especially the duck bao buns.
The biggest mismatch with the marketing was the Surfer snack bar, which mostly offered pre made sandwiches and salads that felt closer to motorway service station food than a 5 star resort.
The spa treatments were excellent, b"
Mayia Exclusive Resort & Spa - Adults Only - All Inclusive
10/10 Excellent
"Excellent all-inclusive stay for our honeymoon. Staff and service were amazing. We used the beach everyday and beach had amazing service. Food was excellent and i recommend making reservations for the different restaurants as they book up fast. We liked the asian and greek restaurants the best. Just note, this hotel is a bit far from the port of rhodes. Overall, great honeymoon and would easily stay here again."
"I love this hotel it is so relaxing & what makes it great is the colleagues in the hotel, the leadership team are lovely and authentic and care, and engage with you. The rooms are fabulous and the housekeeping outstanding. The breakfast is exceptional, the fresh fruit and honey, everything first class. The a’la carte restaurant is very special and the food is amazing, first class . The chef is very good . I also like the fact you can use the other hotels, Lindos village has a great bar and excellent terrace for a drink in the evening, the buggy will take you up there and collect you…..
the pool area exceptional….."
"Location was pretty good. Bus stop right outside helpful. Food generally good but could do with being hotter. À la carte restaurant was better. Maids need to clean rooms better, floors didn’t appear to be cleaned !
Water needs to be hotter too, tried showering at different times but made no difference !
Although all inclusive, mini bar limited (no wine) and only replenished every other day. Also bizarrely you had to pay extra for a bottle of water !
All spirits/wine were just local, premium brands extra."
"We're just back from 8 days here.
First of the staff particularly at reception are fantastic. As soon as you note a problem they get it fixed and are mostly apologetic over issues that happen.
Unfortunately for anyone travelling with young children there are a few problems that could easily be avoided if staff reported broken or faulty items such a jagged broken children's table.
Others are unavoidable like the towel rack that fell on my 1 year olds head whilst she was on the toilet.
The children's pool is extremely slippery with multiple children and adults slipping over.
Entertainment is somewhat lacking.
Food great array of things particularly if you are not fussy. Vegetarian or vegan is not catered for - I had been told multiple times a dish was vegetarian with bacon or vegetarian with X or simply it is vegetarian no meat or fish to realise it had meat on. On that basis I would not recommend for anyone with an allergy either.
Pool area is t cleaned during the day unless you are at the tables.
Othe then that staff are helpful and quick to resolve issues. Hotel seems that it was once great but is starting to need repairs/ replacements. One of the few hotels where the road doest lead directly to the pool or exposed part of hotel.
Great for travel around the island with bus stop right outside and reception will give a timetable of busses upon request."
