"Beautiful hotel in walking distance to much of Kinsale. We booked a Superior room which was a standard USA style room. It overlooked the garden. Bathroom on the small side. Many steps to different levels but has an elevator. The staff were superior and the restaurant and bar very nice. Walked to Charles Fort (30 minutes) and historical buildings in town. "Great stay. Helpful staff. Little things at this level matter though - answering the phone when you’re in the middle of checking someone in isn’t a great look. And the room was uncomfortably warm, even with windows open or AC on max. The views on the other side would’ve been stunning looking East over Oyster Haven. West-facing you just have a car park. Request level 3 on the left (odd-numbered rooms I think). Bar menu was decent. Waiting staff there were brilliant!!!"
