"We treated ourselves to a harbour view room which was nice but it does also look over the car park. We also chose it because we thought it had a private pool for residents - but in reality it is a public pool that hotel residents are allowed to use. Be prepared to share it with children's swimming lessons! The photos on the hotel site look like it is a spa pool just for us. The breakfast is AMAZING and the bed was super comfy."

"The staff was very helpful to adjust our stay because of the long day of travel we had. The hotel although very busy with weddings, funerals, etc. was able to handle all our needs. "The hotel is ancient, but in good condition. It's oddly laid out, with lots of stairs, and a lift that goes to most of the rooms. Reception is up a long flight of stairs. The restaurant serves tasty food in a fairly small space. Beds are comfortable. There is on-street parking, free after 6 pm. The staff are pleasant and helpful."
