「We would have liked to give this lodge a good review given its quite stunning location very close to the sector entrance, but unfortunately there were too many negatives bringing down the rating. Let’s start with the positive: * Proximity to the park entrance * Spacious rooms * Growing vegetable and fruit garden. Ask the gardener to give you a tour. * The manager did provide us with useful advice on where to drive on safari These were the negatives: * Dirty rooms with bat poo on furniture...

「My stay at Gorilla Valley Lodge was wonderful. The staff was incredibly kind and accommodating, and the gardens and properties are beautiful with views overlooking the forest (including the mountain where we did our gorilla trek!). The restaurant area sits atop a hill overlooking a valley with 360 views of the mountains and scenery. The entire property is very peaceful and the restaurant served a three-course meal every evening. The rooms were clean with little welcoming touches when we arrived....
