「Lovely stay! Everything is sparkling new and very friendly staff. Good location for exploring Cairngorms. Lots of eating options in walking distance. Good food in the hotel too. 」

「Elizabeth sent me an email before I was checking in making sure i was aware that there would be no one present on site. Keys were left exactly where she said they would be and instructions for breakfast and everything else were easy to understand and locate. The Crossing is suitably located right next to the Kingussie railroad station and is close to the Barracks - one of the sites to see while we were there. Would highly recommend this place.」

「Hosts were very friendly and attentive, providing a great welcome and suggestions for dinner in the evening, as well as a recommendation of an activity to do the next day after we checked out. Bathroom was private for our room, though not connected to the room itself. The bathroom was very nice. Our room also had a sink in the bedroom itself. Bed was a bit soft - the mattress was not the most comfortable, but overall, no issue. We very much enjoyed our stay, and if we stay in the area again...

「Stayed in the alpine family room which was EXCELLENT - two separated (by doors) areas - one with twin beds, one with a double. Lovely clean, personal hotel and a fantastic breakfast (£13 extra each for fully cooked). The town was a good stop off between Edinburgh and Loch Ness for us, but actually plenty of local sights to see. Check in is by key code but worked well enough. Two floors of steps (no problem for us but if that’s a challenge then be warned). 」

「Such a great little hotel in a cozy small village. Traveling with a friend and our plans got blown away by Storm Amy. We scrambled and found this hotel at the last minute, which was one of the best parts of the trip. Travel weary from hours of driving, we walked in and immediately received a warm greeting, given our room key, and offered dinner in the dining room. The food was so good my friend and I nearly cried. It reminded me of my grandmother’s cooking. The staff were professional and...
