"We really enjoyed our stay in Herold’s bay, our host was in touch with us on the lead up to the stay and then met us on the location and helped us with parking, she was very friendly. The room had a wonderful view over the beach and we loved the convenience of the restaurant next door to our stay. It had everything we needed for our night’s stay before heading off to George airport the following morning."

"Everything EXCELLENT..only hassle seems to be coffee availability in dining room...boiling wster not available whern container runs out.. at least a minimum of 10min wait to replenish.
LADIES in DINING ROOM constantly tidy& reset tables after use, but notice that young men are scarce when this needs to be done!"

"The room was clean and well fitted, however, the aircon was not working correctly. This was mentioned to front desk which could not fixed it so all night sleeping with a humid warm room. It was still not fixed 2 days later when I checked out."

"Fitting aircons would definately add value to the stay. Rooms originally booked was very noisy but that has been sorted. Extremely hot, uncomfortable room with only a portable fan available. By opening the sliding door let mosquitoes into the room.
The lication also next to main road with cars and trucks up and down 24hrs"

"Run down, weathered and aged property. Mediocre service. Felt like a ghost town. Facilities in a poor state of repair. Big rooms, tastefully decorated but aged. No smart TV. Porter service slow and only for bags. Guests must walk. Restaurant operates with limited menu and staff. No restaurants close by - you’ll have to travel at least 20m to George. Great location for downtime but need to up their game on service and amenities and the facilities need a revamp and maintenance."

"I came to ArendsRus to unwind after a hectic work trip, and it was truly what I needed. Charne and her team are friendly, welcoming and so helpful. The room I had overlooked the forest and I saw so many birds and monkeys. I really hope to come back again for a longer stay in future. "
