"We had a wonderful stay at Waves and Wildlife at Stokes Bay, Kangaroo Island. The accommodation is set in a beautiful, peaceful location, aptly named for its stunning coastal surroundings and abundance of wildlife. It's also conveniently located close to the spectacular Stokes Bay Beach and the lovely Rockpool Café. Paul and Katja were warm and welcoming hosts who communicated with us throughout the booking process and made us feel right at home. One of the highlights of our stay was the kangaroo feeding experience. Being surrounded by these gentle, inquisitive animals and having the opportunity to interact with them up close was truly special. We also loved watching the kangaroos grazing around our accommodation, particularly in the soft light of the early morning and evening. The setting is wonderfully tranquil, with beautiful views and a real sense of being immersed in nature. The sunsets were nothing short of spectacular. It was the perfect place to unwind after exploring the island. Waves and Wildlife offers a uniquely Kangaroo Island experience, combining natural beauty, abundant wildlife and genuine hospitality. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily return!"

"Extraordinary location on Kangaroo Island. Kirsty is an excellent and gracious host. You have a whole house to yourself in a secluded, very private location with only 2 other houses nearby. The house has a deck for relaxing looking out over the ocean. There are no shops nearby (Kingscote is 45 mins) so stock up on provisions first. The location offers access to a small, private beach which is reasonably safe for swimming but be cautious about water conditions. Access is via good quality gravel roads which require some caution."

"Good location in the middle of the island. Nice house with lovely garden surroundings where native birds can be seen from the windows. The hosts are very welcoming and friendly which is helpful in a fairly isolated area. We had some cold items and early check in could be accommodated so we could use the fridge. The hosts cooked some pizza for us on Saturday night which was good as there are no local restaurants and driving at night is not recommended due to wildlife on the roads."

"This was the first time we traveled to Australia and we were so fortunate to have the opportunity to stay at Ecopia Retreat in the Residence property! The Residence was beautifully decorated and the back yard was full of wildlife! It was a perfect stay for our family for 4 days. The host was always available and so friendly. The stars at night were unbelievable! Totally off the grid and relaxing and special!"
