"Amazing place! Cute little place that has been remodeled to provide very comfortable and modern rooms. Everything was new and high quality, clean and comfortable, modern and well maintained - but in a cute historic building very close to all the retaurants and sights in town. We had a suite with a separate seating area with a fire place, a deck with a private hot tub (delightful way to end the day!), and a view of the river and a bit of the bay. "The hosts were so kind. I really enjoyed my stay in this cute guest house! Really delicious breakfast! With it being an older building, the walls are thin and it can be a little noisy in the morning, but otherwise it was a great stay in a wonderful location!"

"Lovely historic property in lively town. Room was comfortable and well maintained. Hotel staff were cheerful and helpful. Facility was not as up to date as some. We still received a physical room key - which was a fun change. The bar downstairs has live music and so was a little loud, and there were people in the hallway late at night making noise. So if you are looking for a place that is very quiet, this would not be your place."

"We stayed at the Gateway Lodge in Donegal during our travels in Ireland. The onsite parking was convenient and easily accessible. Hotel is just a short walk to town with several dinner options. We ate at The Olde Castle Bar - seafood was fantastic! Donegal castle is just a few min walk from the hotel!"
