"We had a lovely stay at Pallas Lodge, the house was amazing, with the best view ever! Pat and Kay met us on day one, showed us around the house and then gave us some ideas of where to visit on the Beara Peninsula. There was food and milk in the fridge for us for breakfast the next morning also! If you want a quiet undisturbed holiday on the wild Atlantic coast you can not go wrong here! Would not recommend for people leary of driving on a long, winding, narrow country road or those with certain disabilities as stone steps are steep going up to property. Martin was a friendly host and you even get to feed the chickens near the property."

"This is a pretty, clean, well-stocked house on the lovely Sheep's Head peninsula. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen has everything you need, and the TV has Netflix. It's only a short walk to the beach, hiking trails, two restaurants, and a general store. The general store only takes cash. We had a wonderful time walking many miles in beautiful, remote surroundings. The only caution I would give is that there is very little taxi service and only one bus, so plan to bring a car if you want...
