"The apartment was very clean, spacious, tastefully decorated and the owners have thought of every last detail to make the stay absolutely perfect. We had one double room and the bathroom and our Mum had the other double bedroom with ensuite. "Having had quite a difficult journey, the staff at Loch Shiel hotel were utterly superb and went above and beyond for us. Not only were they kind, friendly and so patient but the amenities and room were fantastic. You have not experienced Scottish hospitality until you’ve been to this hotel! Food was delightful and only beaten by their wonderful service. There was a great lively pub down the stairs and the rooms were cosy, clean and so comfy! Couldn’t recommend the Loch Shiel Hotel enough!"

"Dalilea is the ideal place to stay, relax and get away from it all, whilst also not being far from the main towns. If you love wilderness and wildlife this is the place to be. In addition there are lots of walks nearby. The extension to the cottage was ideal to sit either inside or outside and admire the view after a day exploring the lovely peninsula. The fully enclosed garden was perfect for our small dog and we didn't need to worry about any small escape routes.There is also now a microwave at the cottage. Contact and replies from the host were excellent and nothing was too much trouble for him.We will definitely be returning."

"Beautiful room - a comfortable place that feels like a home. Attention to detail was throughout. From the carpet to the ceiling was quality, and extremely clean. The sunny living room was so comfortable. This beautiful little harbor town had the friendliest folks. The only regret, I didn’t book a longer stay. Side note - I usually don’t write reviews, but this place was too nice not to share."
