Really nice accommodations
Very nice complex. Clean and close to everything. Owner really went out of her way to help me out when my flight was canceled and I could have been homeless for 2 nights. Would definitely stay here again!

Great spot!
This is a lovely spot, very conveniently in North Kihei so it’s pretty centrally located. The condo was quite clean and included many useful things — so nice to not have to pack beach towels! We enjoyed several meals on the balcony. It’s amazing to be able to walk across the street and into the water! The closest beach is well sheltered for kids to play in, with a number of turtles who choose to sleep on the rocks! The only drawback is that the street noise is a bit loud through the night, but the fan of the AC unit gave enough white noise to block it out. A perk: we really appreciated being able to check in early. Everything was easy!

Nice stay overall
We are actually satisfied with the stay. It’s big enough for 2 people, studio apartment with kitchen and everything you need. It was not properly cleaned , looks old , but we are really fine with that. Location is also great, we enjoyed sunsets on the beach across the street. It could be loud for sensitive people during the evening and early morning because it’s near the main road and cars are pretty often. But we are happy that chose this stay.

Comfortable, Ideal Location
This condo had everything we needed, and some things we didn’t know we would. Plenty of linens and kitchen supplies, comfortable bed and sofa, and a great location across the street from the beach. Hot tub and pool were especially nice after a long day at the beach.

View of the water
The check in process was easy and simple. The location is great, view of the pool and ocean from the balcony. Once I entered the room, it looked just like the pictures. Dated. It could definitely use some updates, though the electric glass stove top was nice. The bathroom door kept getting caught and my kids and I would get stuck in there, but got out after moving the knob around until it got unstuck. I would fix this before someone actually breaks the door knob trying to get out. Kids also complained about the pullout bed mattress. Lastly, check-in was easy breezy. But checking out, well let’s just say that there’s a list of chores asked of you before leaving. i.e. removing sheets from bedding, putting them in laundry basket, cleaning dishes, emptying the trash… but isn’t that why we pay a cleaning fee? I’m neat and clean up after myself, but this struck me as out of the ordinary. Overall it was okay. We only stayed at the condo for 2 days. It’s got some good thing going for it, but could use some updates that would create a much richer experience for the renters.

Easy, pretty view, and good area
If you are looking for somewhere to stay, this is the place. It was a easy process and had no issues throughout our stay. The floor was a bit dirty and we found a little bit of hair throughout the stay but overall it was a great place to stay. Not walking distance to food, but the beach is right across the way.

The pros: The location and building were great. The apartment did have all the household items that were needed and the beach chairs were helpful. The cons: The inside of the apartment was old, dated and appeared somewhat dirty. It was an extremely small apartment that would be suitable for maximum 2 adults as using the pullout couch or inflatable mattress would make it extremely challenging to move around the apartment. The cost of this apartment was overall too high for what you get.

Do not stay here if you have more than 2 people
We stayed at Jennifer’s place for just one night, and we were so happy it was only one night. The condo is very small but was pretty clean. However, there were stains all over the dining room chairs and the items were definitely old. We pulled out the pull out couch (easy enough) and there were stains all over the mattress and it was ripped all over. Pulling out the couch left no room for walking in the condo but that wasn’t the worst part. I have never, ever seen or slept on a pull out couch that is in worse shape than this one. You can feel and hear every spring. It completely sags in the middle at least 10” and you honestly feel like you are going to fall right through. It was really unbearable. My mistake though as I read some of the reviews and other people have said the exact same thing. So obviously the owner is aware and I also contacted her about it too. The plus side is that the other real bed in the condo is actually very comfortable, so if it is just two people staying there, it may actually be ok. The ocean can be seen from the balcony which was nice, but there is no place to walk for coffee, groceries or restaurants in that area.

Sorry to hear that the mattress was sagging. The sofa couch mattress is not stained but some of the backing is coming off. There is a mattress pad that had been removed at the time of this stay. There are also 2 inflatable mattresses available, a twin and a queen.

Lovely Kihei condo
Lovely unit. Steps from the beach. Great pool, very big, very clean. I loved how quiet the area was and we often had the BBQ and pool to ourselves. Parking was iffy, and I wasn't a huge fan of having to park head first only. But no big deal really. Plus the folks who started there before us clearly didn't rinse any of the communal beach gear like it asks you to, so we chose not to use it since it was full of sand. But again, no big deal. The lanai was perfect for morning coffee or evening sunsets. Jennifer was extremely communicative and accommodating :)

Wonderful place, great location!
We loved our visit to this Kihei property. It's directly across the street from the beach and a park. Every night we would sit on the lanai and watch the sunset. The apartment was spacious and clean with plenty of amenities. There were nice, high quality beach chairs, an umbrella and various beach toys. The location was perfect for a trip to Maui. The communication with the host was excellent. Overall, one of our favorite vacation stops. We would definitely visit here again!

Great location/poor accommodations
The location is great, the accommodations were dated, which is fine, but the sofa bed did not work, so I had to sleep on the floor. The sofa also had some nasty stains. The next morning we wanted to take a shower and that didn’t work either, even after reading the instructions multiple times, the shower did not work. So we had to just splash water on our selves. Definitely would look for a better place next time.

The guests didn’t call me for assistance or take the time to read the instructions on how to operate the sofa bed or the shower. Directions to both including the pull out sofa and the shower head is outlined and easy to operate if you follow the instructions and I am available 24/7 to answer any questions. There aren't any stains on the couch and he is trying to be nasty.

I would never recommend this place to anyone. It is on an extremely busy street and the deck overlooks said busy street. It is so incredibly noisy and miserable. I didn’t feel like it was clean at all. I don’t know, maybe my standards of clean are different but it felt dingy and girth to me. I actually wanted to cry when we arrived. I’m so thankful that we are only here 1 night or I can honestly say my trip would have been ruined. Do yourself a favor and keep looking for another property to stay at. This one is gross, loud & completely miserable.

Pros: - Perfect spot for getting to most areas on the island - The Beach chairs, umbrella, snorkeling gear, and sunscreen were really helpful! - It was nice being able to use some of the leftover ingrediants from previous residents - The tv had plenty of channels/movies to choose from - Loved the pool and spa Cons: - The photos make it look prettier than it is. - In the afternoon, the rental gets hot inside because it faces the sun so we had to run the a/c the whole afternoon and night (make sure to close the blinds when you leave in the morning to keep the hot air out.) - the a/c unit struggles at times and may need more freon. - The couch pull-out bed completely sags in the middle

I was looking for something simple, no frills. And yet I had a swimming pool, tennis court, a closet full of beach toys and a wonderful park across the street. Centrally located-- I could scoot north to Lahaina or down south to Makena easily. It the opportunity arises, I would come back.

Close to the beach, close to restaurants, flexible
We loved our stay and wished we could have spent more nights here! The condo is cozy and has everything you would need. Having the beach and snorkel equipment was a huge plus. It is a short walk to the beach and close to some great restaurants. Jennifer was also super easy to work with. She even offered us a late check out without us asking first. It was so convenient and made our last day in Maui a lot easier. I would definitely stay here again.

Great location and value!
The Kihei Bay Surf is a great location to checkout giant turtles on the Kalepolepo Beach Park. The studio was very cozy, has a lovely balcony, and comes with many amenities - beach gear, snorkeling gear, pool, hot tub, kitchen stocked with spices, cookware, etc. Yes, it's a short drive from restaurants and groceries, but I loved waking up and walking across the road to the fishpond area to take a quick dip, speak to the locals, and check out the marine life.

The condo is lovely, well equipped and comfortable. We especially enjoyed the pool and hot tub, and having a beach across the street for long evening walks. The only drawback was the heavy traffic below the deck. At times it was too loud for conversation.

Perfect vacation appartment
We stayed at Jennifer's condo for a week in August 2016 during our vacation in Maui. The condo itself had everything we wished for (very well equipped kitchen, a lot of beach gear, big bed, sofa, dining table, balcony to watch wonderful sunsets, etc. etc.). Moreover, it was clean, which is especially important in a tropical environment, otherwise you will have a lot of bugs in the condo. Jennifer was very friendly and helpful as she dropped by in person upon our arrival making sure we had everything we needed. As the pool of Kihei Bay Surf was renovated during our stay, she also made sure that we get the access code of the pool of the neighbouring property. Kihei is a perfect place to stay, as it allows you to easily travel whole Maui island from a central location. Overall, we highly recommend checking in at this nice condo and confidently award it 5 stars.

Perfect place for a short stay
I really enjoyed the condo and the location was fantastic! The space was just perfect for myself. Close to everything; beach, restaurants, bars, stores, etc. The condo was equipped for everything and anything I needed. Jennifer was an amazing host, very informative of everything close by and activities/attractions. Jennifer was also able to accommodate a last minute decision to stay stay in the condo for one more day. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone travelling alone or couples!

Lovely studio with all the amenities for your vacation. Right across the street from the beach and a great place to watch the sunsets! The studio was clean and meet our expectations.
