Kielce Countryside Museum

I really enjoyed my stay here. I arrived at the hotel at around 8:30 pm, and at first I was frantic when I saw there was no one at the front desk and the door was locked. But there was a phone number to call, and the person provided me with the code. I later realized that the hotel sent the code by Expedia message, so if you’re reading this review, learn from my mistake and check your messages before you arrive! At first it was odd not having anyone at the front desk most of the time, but in some ways I liked it better. In Italy, you always have to hand in your key when you go out…I almost feel like I’m being treated like a child. You won’t get that feeling at David Hotel! The hotel is in a GREAT, convenient area. In fact, I was doing a walk from the Rick Steves book, and one walk literally goes right by the front door of the David Hotel! Two critiques: I noticed 2 insects in the room, and the pillow was just awful. It was flatter than a pancake. As I write this review, I am sitting in a hotel in Glasgow that has 2 pillows….MUCH better. Better to provide 2 and have the guest decide they don’t need a second one. In fairness to David Hotel, they do say you can ask for another. I should have. But again, David is great and I’d 100% stay here again. Thanks.

Brilliant location, Basic but clean enough and had a well equipped kitchen. Noisy at night as our bedroom backed onto the Irish bar . (Not the best Irish bar !) Overall though it was good value for money and I would stay again.

Exceeded our expectations. The lobby and room configuration were a bit wonky but very clean and staff went above and beyond. Breakfast was also better than expected (great scrambled eggs and chia seed cups). The location was excellent in the hip Jewish quarter. Gym was bad but that's ok. We recommend!
