"Stunning property in a newly restored old house. Beautiful, spacious and well-appointed room. The common areas were comfortable and there was a lovely balcony. The breakfast which was beautifully served on the balcony was beyond compare. Local, fresh, and delicious Cretan treats. Archanes is close to Heraklion and the palace of Knossos and had plenty of dining options. We were in Greece for three weeks and our night at Carpe Diem was probably our best stay. Can’t recommend highly enough. "

"Perfect hotel! This hotel is run by a couple and their daughter. We received a warm welcome and our check-in went very smoothly! The rooms are actually very comfortable suites, tastefully decorated in a modern, minimalist style with hints of Greek culture. The rooms are very pleasant and, above all, very, very clean! The accommodation is located is located in a lovely, quiet location but close enough to plenty of restaurants and towns. The main pool is fantastic with a small bar offering great food and drinks. "Fabulous and gorgeous property. We stayed in May, and the views were outstanding and the food and service were excellent. You can see the sunset and sunrise from the exact same spot on the view deck. That is big the view is. It is a 30+ minutes from the airport. Free valet and free self parking. The nearby town has nightlife and lots of good restaurants. There is no public hot pool or tub, but some of the rooms have one. "
