Beyond being perfectly located, the cabnwas perfectly maintained, well stocked - we grilled/prepared two dinners there - really well appointed. We would definitely stay again!

The property was awesome.the 1880 train goes right by the cabins and it is located well to travel out for the morning, return to make a light lunch and then travel back out after lunch.Can't say enough how much we where impressed with the cabin.it was very clean and had all the amenities of home.

Beautiful area, quiet, cute, clean & comfy little cabin with all amenities we needed, super convenient check-in process, pet-friendly (we brought our small dog). All wonderful! We very much enjoyed our stay, thanks!!

The cabin was clean, kitchen stocked and bed comfy. The location was great very close to all the area attractions. WiFi was a bit spotty but if it hadn’t rained we wouldn’t have been in the cabin long enough to notice. Highly recommend.

Family getaway

Great quiet location, and an exceptionally clean cabin! Family of 4 with two 13 year olds, and we fit perfect! The cabin and amenities were as described. The host also has UTV rentals right next store, so we rented one, and it was one of the highlights of our stay.

The cabin was very nice. I appreciated all the lawn area and the basketball hoop. We arrived at 12AM and they had the lights on for us. Unfortunately we didn't realize this and thought it must not be our cabin so would have been nice to know they were doing this. Cabin was a little smaller than I expected but it was very comfortable and clean. I loved the front porch, the quiet and the train!
The train traveling out of Keystone. We enjoyed seeing it and it was never noisey.

Peaceful cozy stay

My family and I were very pleased with our cozy cabin stay. The cabin itself was welcoming and very well maintained. We enjoyed the peaceful view of the trees and we're happy to see a playground for our younger kiddos to burn off some energy. Overall we were very impressed with the accommodations and would happily stay again.

We absolutely loved our cabin! I wish we could have stayed longer! The space was perfect for us (3 adults and 2 dogs). An added plus was the gas grill provided! We used it almost every night. We would definitely stay here again!!!

Great stay

My husband and I came for our anniversary trip and had a very nice stay! We brought our own UTV and were able to park our trailer easily. Cabin was very clean! Wi-fi was a little spotty, but we didn't need to use it much. Overall very pleased with our stay.

Joy at American Pines

The cabin was clean, well supplied, and located near many of the places of interest in the Black Hills, SD area. The large grass area behind the cabin was perfect for our lab, Gus. It’s a beautiful setting and we were blessed to see white-tailed deer every morning.

Keystone 3 day Getaway

The cabin was wonderful! Two very nice queen beds, nice living room, nice bathroom with a tub and shower. I highly recommend this location for a quiet and peaceful stay. The large play area was great for our dog. Everything is clean and well taken care of. Thanks Bill and Amy

Foggy week

Bad weather in Dallas prevented my wife and I from getting to South Dakota, but my sister-in-law and her husband were able to get there. The said the place was perfect, with a great location. The foggy weather prevented them from seeing Mt Rushmore until the day they left. We hope get there soon.

Perfect cottage for girls getaway

This was the perfect size for a couple of college friends catching up after many years! Easy access to Keystone, Hill City, etc. The cottage was clean and comfortable for us. We enjoyed a glass of wine at the picnic table out front and sitting on the porch. Loved hearing the 1880 train as it passed by and waving at the people on board. Quiet and peaceful! Definitely planning on staying here again!
