Our stay at the Havana Day Dream home was average. Considering we stayed for 6 days and spent over 14,000, it was not worth the money. The house requires significant maintenance and updates. There was mold around the sinks in both the bathrooms and kitchen, and the drains in the tubs were clogged. The exterior of the house had mildew that needed power washing, the back sliding glass door wouldn’t lock, and the front door handle was loose and difficult to lock. The mattresses were hard as a rock and uncomfortable. They needed mattresses topper.Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the house was lacking; there was hair in the shower left from previous visitors. Additionally, our family pet joined us on the trip. The house is not very pet-friendly, as there is no grassy area for our dog to relieve himself. On a positive note, we did enjoy the pool and the view of the ocean, and we appreciated that the house was tucked away from the main road. We opted for a house instead of a hotel to enjoy family time, especially since we visited for Christmas. However, every morning we were disturbed by the noise from workers at the nearby Home Depot.
