「The cottage was very clean and well stocked with everything you could need. BBQ was clean and ready for use. Waking up to the sound of a loon and having your morning coffee so close to the lake was amazing. The Owner made sure our stay was amazing. Definitely recommend others to come and see for yourself. 」

「This is a beautiful cabin right on the lake, very peaceful and relaxing! It is a good location for day trips to Lunenberg and the coast, and Kejimkujik NP. Well equipped kitchen (be sure to get groceries before arriving as limited stores nearby). Two canoes made for a fun day of paddling around the lake from island to island. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!」

「Visiting family and friends in Nova Scotia, for more than a month and while I truly enjoy their company, I needed a short 'me time'. This was perfect for a 2 day get away and I could have stayed longer, but was expected in the Annapolis Valley. 「My husband and I stayed at this lakeside retreat in early May. Our son in law's family have a cottage down the road. While we spent most of our day in the other cottage, we enjoyed the peace and quiet of the Lakeside retreat. It is very well appointed and comfortable. We enjoyed working on a few puzzles and listening to music on the Google Home Sound system. We hope to come again one day with our granddaughters and swim in the Medway river and Ponhook lake.」

Beautiful lake views from large deck livingroom and dining room.Kitchen has everything we needed to cook and serve 8 of us.We loved being on the lake in kayaks, canoe, and paddle board. 「This is a hidden gem! The house was gorgeous and had the perfect cottage feel along with all the amenities. Located on a cute cove off the larger lake created a nice private feel and made the water warmer! Mike was great communicating with and answered all our questions! A great place to escape for the weekend. Would definitely recommend!!」
