Antler is kept clean, and the rooms in particular are very well maintained, cozy, and comfortable. The motel itself is composed of 2 older buildings, and the office is across the street from the section we stayed in. It was very full at the time we stayed, which made parking a challenge—the location left us feeling a bit exposed as we were there for business and did have valuables with us. However, overall we found Antler to be one of the most comfortable, safe, and certainly one of the best values of anywhere to stay in Kemmerer. Would recommend!

Kemmerer stay

This is an older mom&pop motel. The room was nice size and clean. The bed was comfortable. The room had a refrigerator/freezer unit. We liked the fact the bathroom had a chair height toilet. Every motel we have stayed in on our cross country trip had whst we call "child size" toilets. Our only complaint is no electrical outlet in the bathroom and no hook to hang clothes on while you shower . We would have no problem staying there again.

Small town America delivers!

We stayed in the portion of the hotel across the street from the main office/rooms, so I can only comment on that. Through no fault of the hotel, the cleaning staff person had called in sick....this put things behind schedule. The manager was very nice, apologetic, and provided some compensation for this minor delay in getting into our room. The room itself, was clean, comfortable and perfect for all of our needs. It is not a fancy, new motel; however the room was in good repair and had nice amenities (ie good sized refrigerator, single serve coffee maker, etc). I would definitely stay at the Antler Motel in Kemmerer again!

Really, this is a $60/ night motel. The first room we stayed in had a bathroom window that wouldn't close completely, leaking cold winter air into the room. We were moved to an adjoining room the next day, but neither in-room thru-wall heater/AC could keep up with the outside cold air (20F). The unit ran continously (loud) all night and never shut off. The LVP floors had obviously been laid right on the concrete slab and were very cold.
