I’ve been to some lovely hotels and this is right up there with the best, but what really makes the difference with the Canale is the staff. Petros and his team are magnificent! So friendly and can’t do enough to make your stay on this beautiful island, really memorable. Definitely my favourite ever hotel.

Excellent design hotel and perfect location

Fantastic small design hotel in a great location in Argostoli. The rooms enjoy balconies and fantastic views. Our balcony was perfect for relaxing with a hot tub. I personally found the bed and pillows a little on the firm side, but the quality of the stay was wonderful in terms of decor, aircon and service. Excellent breakfasts too, as well as charming walks in both directions outside the hotel. The neighbouring sister hotel has a fantastic restaurant on the promenade for evening meals with excellent food and service, along with more amazing views. Attentive, caring and professional staff making our stay truly memorable. Thank you

We have had a wonderful stay at Canale Hotel and Suites. The customer service is outstanding. We took advantage of being collected from the airport and enjoyed a welcome drink on our arrival at the hotel. All of the staff were superb, considerate and looked after us so well. The breakfasts were delicious, and a wide range of Kefalonian dishes were offered. Our room was spacious, extremely well equipped and we enjoyed sitting on the balcony with a superb view.

Our stay at Canale Hotel was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the service was warm, attentive, and truly exemplary. The staff went out of their way to make our trip effortless, even helping us reserve umbrellas at the beach ahead of time—a thoughtful touch that made a big difference. The breakfast deserves its own spotlight: it was, without a doubt, the best we’ve ever had. Each morning featured a beautiful spread, including a variety of freshly baked goods that were absolutely delicious. The level of care and hospitality we experienced at Canale sets a new standard. We would return in a heartbeat and recommend it wholeheartedly to anyone visiting Kefalonia.

This hotel was beyond 5 stars for us. It was beautiful with a gorgeous view across the street from the water. The shopping and restaurants are so close by, it makes it so convenient. A 5 minute walk to the main square. The staff is always on hand to help at any moment. The breakfast is unbelievable with an assortment of different breads, desserts and cakes. We highly recommend. We will be back.

Out of this world!!

It was an amazing stay, all the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Very helpful, guided us and also made ferry reservations. The property itself is very clean and modern, great location with beautiful view of the sea.Breakfast was amazing with very personalised service, we had never experienced before. You also get a free voucher for the Costa Costa Beach with your stay with sun loungers, which is a beautiful beach. Special thanks to Martine, Petros, Costas, Maria and Christina, sorry if I am forgetting someone but you all were amazing. Thank you for making our stay a very memorable one!!

This was a perfect stay. The property is pristine and the staff beyond accomodating. They organised cars, taxi, restaurants and with great humour and a calm that was beguiling. The room and all of the hotel were spotlessly clean and beautifully appointed. We could want for no more. The breakfast was fantastic and all home made by a member of staffs mum. Walkable to everywhere in town for drinks and food. We would not stay anywhere else. It is a perfect oasis of calm and good taste. The best feature were the staff and team at the hotel. They were beyond wonderful.

Amazing, luxurious experience

We had incredibly lovely and luxurious time at Canale Hotel & Suites during our trip to Kefalonia The customer service was impeccable: everyone was from start to finish very friendly and professional. Our stay started with a surprise: room upgrade and complimentary sparkling wine. The room itself was lovely: spacious, stylish, clean and seemed to be brand new. Bed was comfy and the room had a beatiful sea view. And most importantly: there was AC and the rooms were really quiet. The hotel is on a quiet seaside, but still within walking distance to Argostoli's town square. We had breakfast delivered to our balcony every morning and the options were plentiful and tasty We were really happy with our stay and the overall experience and we hope to come back one day. If you are looking to pamper yourself, this is the perfect place for it

We absolutely loved this hotel. The staff who looked after us were truly amazing, nothing was too much trouble. The room and all common areas were spotlessly clean and the breakfasts were abundant, varied and fresh. So much choice! The staff completely made our holiday, they were so friendly, informative and wanted us to have a great stay. Hotel rooms are modern, well equipped, very stylish and extremely comfortable. As part of our honeymoon we stayed at the sister hotel Casaly. Our room was upgraded to the presidential suite. It was an absolutely amazing experience. It was simply the best hotel experience we have ever had and likely to ever have!
