Good value, neat, clean room and stocked bathroom. With no bedside lamp as advertised, Charlie was able to bring us a lamp for light. A great position to walk into town for supplies or drive straight out on the right to Nitmiluk Gorge. A big fridge. The cooking hot plate space is not practical in size and when we were there, a dark corner as light on exhaust fan didn’t work. Happy with our stay.

The motel has recently been renovated. The room was neat but the room door kept jamming. The towels and face washer had dirty stains on them. The sheets were a 'dirty white' colour and we were unsure as to whether they had been changed. The fridge in the room was very noisy. The water in the swimming pool was murky and appeared to not have a filter and had no chlorine smell at all. We hopped out very quickly. The owner was friendly and you can tell that they are wanting to do a good job. However, it is definitely very average and when you're having to sleep in a motel with spikes on the fences and an electric gate that is closed at night to keep the locals out, it's a little unsettling. If you're looking for a cheap and poor to average motel this is fine, but do not expect any more.

Staff looking after reception were very helpful and helped me through some difficulties during my stay. Rooms were beautiful and clean. Security was of high importance to the property and they ensured patrons and cars were safe with overnight gate in place. I would look forward to staying again if my travels take me that way again.

The property was clean and the area very quiet. You can see that renovations were being completed and look very good. The car park area is a little small but can also see this is a work in progress. The property is quite centrally located in Katherine.

Was clean and the aircon worked really well. Contrary to most other properties, the tv was well connected and allowed for viewing of streaming services. The area felt a bit disconnected but it was very quiet and we had a good night sleep.

I really liked this place. It’s…honest? Basic, but clean, comfortable, spacious. We had to motel hop, and this was my fave. Loved the bright walls, fresh paint, friendly staff. No frills, but genuine. Good vibe, and central.

K-Town Hotel is just what you need after a long drive in the outback. Hassan and his wife are doing a terrific job with this business in a difficult and remote location. The room was perfectly comfortable, clean and well appointed. The king bed was very comfy and sheets clean and soft. Great shower, full size fridge, huge smart tv and a very inviting pool which we didn’t use. Easy and secure parking with automatic locking gate after 7:30pm. Highly recommended

Thhe decor was fine. The ripped quilt cover and very old towels need replacing. The queen bed needs replacing as well. Really liked the larger fridge and bathroom.
