We can now look forward to summer in Kaprun and its glacier, mountains, and many other attractions, winter, spring, summer and autumn.

A recent guest has described it as a nice apartment, everything you need is available and that inside it's a quiet place.

We have been told that it's great that the apartment has a balcony. Let's hope you can stay and enjoy the views. Recent guests have said that everything they needed was in walking distance. They have also confirmed that it was a good location. Other guests have said the price was great and that both our apartments were clean.

Our holiday accommodation is in an ideal central location for a holiday in the Austrian Alpine Kaprun spring, summer, autumn and winter. You can look forward to a fantastic holiday.

The beautiful village of Kaprun has plenty of activities to suit everyone. As well as skiing, these activities include boat trips on nearby Lake Zell, ice rink, indoor pool, Kaprun Castle, lidos, museum Tauern Spa, all year skiing on the Kitzsteinhorn Glacier and the city of Salzburg is less that 90 minutes away by car.

There is also plenty of skiing available in Kaprun village and Zell am See during the winter. The ski lifts in the village centre are walking distance and are open throughout the winter season. Holidays are always fun in the beautiful Alpine village of Kaprun.

Don't leave it too late to book your skiing holiday. Book one or both of our self-catering studio flats. In warmer weather you can enjoy drinks and meals on the balcony. Our guests always comment on how much they enjoy all the things there are to do in the snow and the sun. It is close to all major attractions in Kaprun, including shops, restaurants and bars.

This is such a beautiful part of Austria there is every reason for you to expect an enjoyable stay. Ideal for lakes & mountains holidays all year round, including all year skiing & snowboarding, plus walking, mountain biking, golf. 50 miles from Salzburg with easy access by road, train & bus.

Kaprun is at the heart of the action with a huge choice of summer and winter sports available for all, or just relax and enjoy the wonderful scenery all around! The village location means you are close to real Austrian mountain countryside in all its beauty. The property is only 5 minutes walk from the centre of Kaprun and all its amenities. The nearby town of Zell am See is next to lake Zell.

winter & Summer Skiing

During the winter the ski lifts in the village centre are walking distance from the flats and are open throughout the winter season. All year skiing is guaranteed on the Kitzsteinhorn Glacier. There are plenty of ski equipment hire shops and ski schools in the village.

If you are looking for and alternative to skiing one day you might like to consider the following :

Snowboarding on the Kitzsteinhorn Mellow Park

With 3 Snow parks on the top, the Kitzsteinhorn gives you: freshly reshaped parks every day with 70 obstacles and this year there is a new super pipe. Why not make this year the start of your snowboarding fun!

Winter Hiking

There is a wide-spread network of paths with cafés and mountain huts. Please take sturdy footwear, winter-proof clothing. Guided snowshoe and winter hiking tours are also available. There are also hiking trails through Kaprun if you simply want a leisurely walk in the afternoon.

Grossglockner - the highest mountain in Austria about 1 hour 20 minutes drive from Kaprun

At 3,798m the Grossglockner is not only the highest mountain in Austria, it also counts among the highest peaks in the Alps. The most famous alpine road leads you into the heart of the Hohe Tauern National Park, to the Grossglockner (3,798m)

Value for money

What to expect? If you pay a small price then there is hardley any room to complain. It took some adjustment after finding ou that there was no ski room and before we used the porcelain and cutlery a quick washing up was needed. Beds were fine and the kitchen is very functional.Location taking the use of a bus in consideration was A. Less than 5 minutes to the busstop and a bus every 15 minutes. Only 10 minutes walk to the centre of Kaprun and 5 minutes to the nearest supermarket.

Net appartement op goede locatie

Het is een net appartement, geen hip of luxe interieur maar alles is netjes en schoon.Fijne locatie, lopend naar de skilift, supermarkt en centrum met apreski. Enige minpuntje was de kooklucht die binnen kwam via de ventilatie.

rapporto qualità/prezzo buono considerando i prezzi di altre strutture locali. Consiglio ai futuri ospiti che oltre a portarsi carta igienica, asciugamani anche i cuscini, in questa struttura praticamente non esistono, ti danno una federa con alcuni pezzi di spugna all'interno che riempono a malapena 1/4 della stessa , praticamente dormite in piano con il materasso.

Ja: Lage, sehr gut gelegt. Nah zum Bus, zu Market, zum Zentrum, zum Seilbahn. Aufzug, beqwame Bette (alle). Im Sommer keine direkte Sonne. Ausreichende Ausrustung. Sauber vorbereitet, hilfsbare Hausmeister. Nein: eher laut wegen Restaurant, Parkplatz direkt unter Fenster, Nahbarschaft. Wer gut schlaeft ist kein Problem wenn man Fenster zumacht. Die Wohnung ist eher alt und und hat nicht ausgenutzte Potential. Wer kommt um zu besuchen nicht wohnen soll zufrieden sein.

Never again!!! Nicht mal kostenlos!!!

Eines vorweg…wäre das Objekt nur halb so gut wie der Hausmeister, dann gäbe es 5 Sterne. Aber diese Bude ist eine Katastrophe! Die Einrichtung ist, wie es viele beschreiben, lieblos, zusammengewürfelt und einfach schlimm. Ein großer Balkon der echt toll sein könnte, wenn man nicht einen Bistrotisch hätte mit 50cm Durchmesser. Der Balkon liegt übrigens direkt über einem Restaurant wo man permanent mit dem Geruch der Küche versorgt wird und abends die Shisha rauchenden Gäste einem alles verderben. Den Parkplatz natürlich auch direkt vor dem Fenster wo jeden Abend bis 23.30/0.00 Uhr Betrieb war. Schlaf bis dahin Fehlanzeige. In der Küche blättert die Farbe von der Decke, im Bad die Beleuchtung über dem Spiegel komplett ohne Funktion. Man kann ja low Budget anbieten, aber nur die Kuh melken ohne ihr mal was zu gönnen führt zur Degenerstion. Wir haben sogar für eine Nacht ein Hotel gebucht um wenigstens eine angenehme Nacht in unserem Urlaub zu haben. Wir können nur abraten. P.S. Sehr lobend allerdings die zur Verfügung stehenden Parkplätze. Wir konnten sogar unseren Motorradanhänger dort abstellen. Eine Schranke verhindert Fremdparken. Parkplatz und Hausmeister top 👍 der Rest Flop 👎

Preis-Leistung--Verhältnis der Unterkunft war super...

Ein-Zimmer-Appartment in einem Appartment-Haus in Kaprun. Hat alles gepasst. Kaprun ist halt ein Ort, der auf den Wintersport ausgerichtet ist und dementsprechend ist im Sommer nicht viel los. In der Umgebung gibt es jedoch im Sommer viel zu unternehmen. Zimmer war gut, der Hausmeister beim Checkin und Checkout sehr freundlich.

Summer camp

We enjoyed Kaprun and the apartment very much! We stayed in Kaprun for a summer sports camp. Since we travelled by train and bus it was very convenient to have the nearest bus stop approximately 300m down the road.

Great location - but too small for 4 x adults

The location and cost was on point, and the HAUSMEITER, was very helpfull. But it is a bit to small for 4 x adults, when it comes to the amount of beds. Unfortunately this is being sold as a apartment that can handle 4 adults. We didnt realize this before a week before departure. I think they should put in either: 4 x adult size beds or change the search criteria, so that 4 adult CANNOT book it.

I booked the cheapest option for a ski camp and got sorriest hole in town. It was stinky when I got there, no wifi, no hand soap, uncomfortable beds and bedding, no freezer. Communication with the owner is annoying. If you are looking for the cheapest option just for yourself and willing to stomach all the downsides, it might work, but I would not bring any company to this place.

You get what you pay for.

Super Preis Leistung

Sehr saubere Unterkunft, einfach, ohne Schnick Schnack, wenn man günstig in den Skiurlaub möchte, ist das die perfekte Unterkunft. Doppelbetten haben gute Matratzen. Schlafcouch ist weniger komfortabel ( ziemlich hart zum Liegen). Kein wlan, kein Geschirrspüler! Aber das wussten wir… Hausmeister hat auf unsere Anfrage hin sogar einmal unsere Wäsche gewaschen. Das war top. Wenn ich beim nächsten Skiurlaub wieder knapp bei Kasse bin, würde ich wieder hier buchen. Sonst nicht😉

Für knappe Woche im Februar zu zweit in Ordnung

Die Bilder geben die Wohnung nur unzureichend wieder bzw. gaukeln eine unmittelbare Nähe zum Skilift vor. Die Beschreibung könnte ebenfalls etwas ausführlicher sein. Durch Rückfragen, die immer schnell beantwortet wurden, konnten wir u. a. in Erfahrung bringen, dass das Bad zur Wohnung gehört, und erhielten auch ein Bild von der Küche. Leider kein WLAN. Da wir aufgrund der zurückhaltenden Beschreibung mit einem etwas mulmigen Gefühl angereist waren, waren wir doch insgesamt erleichtert, als wir ankamen: Eine gut ausgestattete Küche (allerdings die Bratpfannen mit zerschlissener Beschichtung), die Matratzen waren auch in Ordnung (relativ fest/hart). Die Wohnungstür machte hingegen einen ziemlich schwachen Eindruck. Wer eine einbruchsichere Wohnung bevorzugt, ist hier falsch. Die Badtür konnte man nicht zuklinken (Schnapper funktionierte nicht), man musste abschließen (Schlüssel war vorhanden). Eine "Schuhschale", in die man tropfnasse Schuhe oder Skischuhe hätte hineinstellen können, oder wenigstens ein Abtreter (bzw. Schmutzfangmatte) wäre hilfreich gewesen. Der Kühlschrank im Unterschrank enthält kein Gefrierfach. Im Zimmer gibt es lediglich 3 (!) Steckdosen. Zum Glück hatte ich allerlei Verteiler mit. Und unser WLAN haben wir uns auch mitgebracht. Die Wohnung ist an sich ruhig gelegen. Wer allerdings bei offenem Fenster schläft, muss sich auf den Geräuschpegel durch vorbeifahrende Autos (die wie Busse oder LKWs klingen) einstellen. Es ist allerdings eine Nebenstraße ohne allzu viel Verkehr, die ca. 20 Meter (Parkplatz dazwischen) vor dem Haus vorbeiführt. Parkplatz hinterm Haus und Bushaltestellen in ca. 100 bis 200 m Entfernung (knapp 30 min bis Zell am See). Für 6 Nächte im Februar zu zweit mit Teenager-Tochter in Ordnung, der Preis (ca. 400 €) angemessen.

Schlafen zum Skifahren

Für 2-4 Leute ausreichend. Ausstattung eher veraltet, aber zum Schlafen völlig ausreichend. Küche gut ausgestattet. Wenn man nur drin schläft sehr gut.
