I think you were referring to the full bath vanity where the pull out drawers had a slight hole in the pressboard bottom We’ve replaced the vanity, the light and painted the entire bath Maybe you didn't report because you wanted a late check-out which we were happy to accommodate. However, it stressed our valued cleaning crew.

Thank you for your kind words. We just finished doing some more kitchen remodel. Yes, it is small. I don't allow more than 4 guests and I don't have a sleeper sofa. I may consider only allowing bookings for 3 or fewer. We don't want anyone to be disappointed.

We are so sorry this guest was unhappy throughout her stay. We informed the guest that no food can be left on the counter tops. And that trash must be removed in a timely manner.

Thank you for your review. The State of Hawaii has been widening the road for over 6 months. I think they will be finished by the end of 2022. They cannot work at night when then seabirds are fledging. So at the end of the year the crews will either be finished or working at night. We hope you can return to see the changes

The guest complained that there was only "mobile air-conditioning". We do not advertise air-conditioning. The association does not allow air-conditioning. We have had the same board of directors for about 10 years. We do have two free standing air conditioners. One in each bedroom. We do not have one in the living room. We email a welcome guide as soon as someone books. It clearly specifies that we do no have window air-conditioning units.

I am so sorry that you were unhappy and continue to be unhappy. I did give you a five-star review. We don't want anyone to be unhappy. We live on the island. We make sure that someone is always available to answer calls. We have had the same cleaning crew since 2007. The comments about the cleaning were just not accurate. There was not dust on the fan. There was a small bit of fraying on the leading edges of the fan blades. We have replaced the fan. Our cleaners felt humiliated by the comment.s We ask only one thing from our guests. We ask them to call or text with any issues. We ask to be given the chance to make their vacation more enjoyable. We drop everything to make sure we give you the experience you deserve. I frequently check the unit prior to a guest arrival. Would I have noticed a dirty utensil? Probably not. In any case, we appreciate you reporting all of the issues. If you had reported them while you were here, I guarantee you we would have made you happy. We would have cleaned. We would have given you a refund. We just want the chance to do the right thing. Now, there is no amount of money to compensate you for a bad vacation. It can't be undone. The two-star review can't be undone and will affect my rating for years. It may have been an attempt to get a refund on one of the most affordable 2 bedrooms on th island. We can only rededicate ourselves to making it easier to call or text. Maybe your phone calls would have been too expensive. We could have taken care of that. Going forward, we will stop by during our guest stay to make sure there aren't issues. I will talk to our beloved cleaning people. Again, I apologize. I wish that I could make the experience go away. After traveling such a long distance, you deserved better.

I went into the unit and the louvered windows for the exhaust of hot air were closed
