This is your Home Away from Home. There're two levels. Upstairs level has 2 bedrooms, kitchen and open space with dining set in one area and sitting area (sofa-bed and two love seats) in another. Wi-Fi, TV (free over the air), Netflix included. Upstairs bedrooms have comfortable queen size beds. Additional bed linens/comforters/ pillows and towels (for up to 10 people) are located in the closet next to the bathroom. Save room in your luggage - you don't need to bring shampoo, body wash, conditioner, iron, hair dryers - it's all provided.
Kitchen has a breakfast bar in front of the window - nice place to have a cup of morning coffee.
Downstairs has a living room with one futon that can turn into a sleeper and another sofa-bed. Last bedroom is downstairs and it has a bunk bed that can be used by adults too. There's second bathroom downstairs (shower)
If you need a pack-n-play or high chair - please let us know - we'll be happy to provide those.

Guest will receive a code for the keyless lock 24 hours prior to check-in. The code can be shared between people in the same party but shall not be shared to anyone who's not the registered guest. The code will be activate only for the duration of the stay.

Nice little place

Owner was very pleasant and helpful with fast communication. We were able to extend our stay and they were happy to help us. Great neighborhood. Loved the deck and the house overall. Lots of room and all the amenities.

Great VRBO for a group of friends.

We came to Kansas City to complete the KC Garmin Marathon events. Had a great stay. Clean and everything was in working order. Extra space on couches that turn into beds. Don't hesitate to book. Great experience.

Cute property

This is a cute place! Be prepared for some stairs; this duplex is a split level. The beds are comfortable, although very low to the ground. The couches look really nice, but they're not super comfortable. However, if you're out of the house a lot, it's not an issue. Very nice kitchen, two full bathrooms (one on each level), and a large eating area top off this house well. Good host communication, too!

Spacious

My family (including my mother and my husband's parents) took a road trip and wanted to spend some time in Kansas City on our way back to Texas. We stayed two nights. This property is spacious enough for all of us, and it's close to Kansas City. I would like to add that when we were hit with a crazy storm and lost electricity, our wonderful host had us another property within the hour! I would give 10 stars if I could!

Nice Space in Convenient Area

This Duplex worked really well for us. Was actually more space than needed with two bedrooms upstairs, and one bedroom with additional large sitting room downstairs. Electronic thermostat worked well to make upstairs comfortable, cannot confirm downstairs as we did not use the space. There is also a garage that could be used if desired. The neighborhood did not appear to be the best, but we did not have any issues to speak of. It was on a dead-end street and relatively quiet. The area on the other hand allowed for quite the diverse shopping and dining within a few miles of the house. This was definitely a plus for us on a business trip. The TV upstairs was on a over-air antenna with a Roku attached. The antenna worked well after finding the optimal position of on the floor facing the wall. The Roku allowed access to a whole plethora of viewing options especially if you have a major cable provider that you can use to sign in to them. The AMC app streaming was not as good as I would like to have to view The Walking Dead as it was quite pixelated. Also the sound and video was slightly out of sync as with a lot of streaming devices. All in All though it served it's purpose to allow us to view a few shows and catch the games. The electronic lock on the front door worked like a charm and was custom programmed with a lock access code. This is a plus as it was obvious the owner changes the code after every stay - a safety assurance. The only negative that I would give is regarding washer and dryer which this did not have. I brought plenty of clothes for our work trip but my co-worker did not and needed to wash meet stay. Luckily there was a laundromat nearby.

Convenient location

The property was easy to get to and clean. It seems like some issues with the house have just been covered up quick and not really fixed and some of the furniture was pretty scratched up and not in great shape, but having 3 small kids it was kinda nice I wasn't worried they'd break something or ruin anything. Also my husband noticed some of the switches were arching so the wiring may need some updating. But overall we had a good stay and there were no issues that really effected us, just stuff that probably needs work so the house doesn't develop any serious problems.

Our overall stay was ok. There were a few things that needed fixing in the house but Boris took care of them right away when we notified him. Few other odds and end issues but nothing too dramatic. Good house but a little over priced. Oh, and Lots of leaves if there in fall. Would be nice if those were blown off deck and mowed up.

Overall it was a good stay and we enjoyed. Neighborhood was safe and clean. Home layout was good as well. Opportunity that we found was that it had some small bugs in the lower level and balcony door was old and it was as difficult to maneuver. Basically need some cleaning. Good place for family to stay.

Overall we had a good stay. The neighborhood wasn’t the nicest, but we didn’t feel unsafe and it’s right off the highway so easy to get around and to downtown. The place itself was clean and well decorated but older. We had an issue with an exposed electrical wire but the host promptly got someone out to fix it so we were happy with that! The only real issue we had was that a lot of the electrical outlets wouldn’t keep plugs in so that was not ideal. Overall we recommend the place and had a good experience. If you are traveling with kids they have a high chair and a pack n play. And the second living area has a door on it so it can be used as a 4th bedroom. It fit our family of 7 (with all little kids) well!

Decent space , cold downstairs hard to keep warm

It’s was a decent place one the space downstairs was to come for people to use so everyone slept upstairs...I will say some things can use some fixing a lot of things seemed to break VERY easily and screen door was very hard to close but overall the space was great neighborhood was nice!!

Late changes by owner worked out ok

Owner contacted me a couple days before we were arriving asking me to move to a different property he owned because they were putting siding on this one. We didn't want to move father from the swim meet, So I negotiated a cheaper rate. The timing was such that finding a new rental wouldn't have happened. The house was clean except the toilets. There were lots of beds for sleeping, but most of them were pullouts. Overall it was pretty good for the price.
