This manmade lake is a refreshing break from the city. There is a boardwalk around about half of the lake which provides great views of Karaweik Hall (picutred here) and the reknown Shwedagon Pagoda. While we were there in August 2015 they were working on part of the boardwalk which made it hard to get over to Karaweik Hall - basically you are forced to exit the park and walk along the road until you get to the next entrance. The whole park is fenced in with few entrances which also makes walking around the lake hard with the boardwalk being incomplete. But, it is a fun place to explore and enjoy the sun!

Grounds are not maintained. Few benches, no toilets. Someone should rent canoes there. Or glass bottom boats.
