including two of the great attractions (ie rock and cape). Surprisingly front desk rejected our requests for Sapporo bus and tour reservations or even checking the status of tour ship departures. They just focus on delivering good services within the hotel."

"This was a bit expensive for us, especially as it is a hostel and a bit out of town (20 min walk), but it was actually very nice indeed. The superb onsen was absolutely lovely with sea view, there was a nice reception, the shared lounge was enormous with amazing view and there was easy parking. We had a nice meal out at a friendly (recommended) local restaurant. Shiretoke is a truly beautiful nature reserve and well worth a visit. We were happy we stayed here."
