"Wow. Everything was genuinely absolutely perfect. The hotel is small, quiet, and peaceful. Every single detail is taken care of. Petra, Dora and the team are all so kind and accommodating. I hesitate to leave this review because I don’t want to lose out on a reservation next year when they get fully booked. The breakfast is absolutely lush! We also had drinks by the pool and dinner in the little restaurant. Everything was delicious; flavorful ingredients, nice organic wines, and great portions. My husband and I had a dream of a holiday. The hosts are beautiful people with extensive knowledge of the island. They're so kind and accommodating. They left snacks in the fridge and in the kitchen. It's so clean and so peaceful, I cannot express my gratitude enough to Dimitris and Anastasia! The local restaurants are within only moments walking around the corner. The locals are so kind. As soon as I can return, I will! Don't miss out on this so exquisite property and the beauty that Patmos Island has to offer."

"Asteri hotel is a welcoming family-run hotel which is located 10-15 on foot from the centre of Scala. The owners are there to accommodate your needs and make you feel at home. The room was spacious and the balcony had a spectacular view towards Chita and the castle. The garden looked like a small paradise. The hotel was clean and well maintained although the room could be renovated to include more modern amenities. They gave us free breakfast which was so kind of them, however there were not many options, especially for vegan travellers like me. Overall it was a great stay and I’d be happy to return!"
