Unfortunately, adherence to pandemic hygiene rules is not monitored at all in the boardinghouse and only so-so in the hotel, which made any passing through the stairways and/or elevator feel inherently unsafe. "Wir waren eine Woche Anfang Oktober 2023 in der kleinen Dachwohnung (ca. 20 m2) zu Gast. Die Küchenausstattung mit Mikrowelle, Toaster, Kaffeemaschine und allen sonstigen Töpfen, Tellern, Tassen, Gläser etc. lies Freude aufkommen. Der Empfang als auch die Betreuung während der Urlaubszeit waren sehr freundlich. Die Insel Rügen lässt sich von hier aus sehr gut erkunden. "Spacious but not cozy. Basic dated holiday rental. No Wi-fi, bathrooms old fashioned with one cracked sink. Lacking in kitchen basics - only one tea towel, only one baking tray. Was advertised with towels. But NO towels were provided and had to purchased some at extra of our own. No washing up liquid provided, no small extras included so difficult for visitors flying in. No spare bed linen. Rear patio space (not a garden) was tiny and overlooked by the neighbours - no privacy. Poor communication...

"Wir waren mit der Unterkunft zufrieden. Die Vermieter waren sehr freundlich. Die Lage der Ferienwohnung ist sehr ruhig und genau das wollten wir. Familien mit Kindern sind hier bestens aufgehoben. Trotz Abgeschiedenheit liegt diese Unterkunft sehr zentral. Babe, Binz und Sellin sind ca. 5 bis 10 km entfernt und mit dem Fahrrad über Radwege zu erreichen. Das Schloss Granitz ist Luflinie ca. 500 m entfernt. Sauber und ordentlich ist's gewesen. Nix wie hin...... 😉👍👍👍"

"Andreas and Lily were very responsive and helpful and did a excellent job restoring this house in the village of Garz. The place is very central in Rügen and you can get anywhere within about 20min. This unit consists of the entire upper floor and is very spacious and the deck in the back is quiet. The We will book there again, if we get a chance to return."

It's not as charming as the old Victorian-style guesthouses in Binz, but it's right on the beach, and rooms are surprisingly spacious and everything is squeeky clean. "Hotel and facilities were great, I loved to poll and the excellent service. I Found only 2 issues, the curtains in the room did not block the sunlight so it was hard to sleep past 6:00am and the shower was a bit small and had some issues with warm and cold water."
