"Our stay, although short, was very nice at Castillo Romano. Theo and Morena made sure to welcome me and my family with open arms. Morena is an amazing cook and very friendly. Don Theo is the best! He helped us with anything we needed in the house and even gave us good advise for our trip to El Salto Del Limón. The castle is well kept and has amazing views. "Fantastic villa in superb location, about 10 mins walk to the wonderful beach. Accommodation was great for our 3 families and the pool and gardens ideal for the children. Day to day housekeeping was provided by China and was on the whole fine, although there was a shortage of toilet rolls at one point! The manager Arnaud was also very responsive although voice messages rather than direct conversations was a little frustrating at times. Villa Pachuco could be a 5* property but does need upgrades...

"The house is lovely as is the pool. The cushions in main area and pillows in general smelled musty so we hung out outside. Be aware there is alot of construction in your backyard but we didnt really care. The pool is terrific and location is great, walking distance to really nice beaches and 15 -20 walk to large supermarket. We would happily return."

"This place is a hidden Gem 💎 for me, everything was perfect, it wasn't grand, nor extravagant, but cozy and comfortable. The service was the best I've gotten in DR so far, it felt like i was visiting family. The breakfast was made right there, fresh, the pool was very clean and well maintained, it looked like a little retreat, like i was on my own little paradise. 5 stars I'm definitely going back again!!!"
