Ok great but not good

Well our overall stay was fine, it definitely gave us a place to sleep and shower for the night the way the power worked in the room was a little nerve wracking. At first neither light would turn on and then we pushed a button that then made the lights work but then if you hit the switch to turn the light out it killed the power for most of the room

First, the guy at check in was awesome. The hotel itself is kinda of peculiar but we liked that. We wanted somewhere to stay that was on the cheaper side but also clean. We read in the other reviews somewhere that the people here helped a homeless person at one point and we love that kind of energy. Was everything perfect, no. But it’s def cleaner than some of the more expensive places we have stayed. The room was a little warm but we also keep our home -20. There were no bugs. The bed was comfortable and the shower worked well. We didn’t mind our stay at all.

It took us 30 mins just to find our room because there is no room signs or signs telling you what rooms are where. There wasnt even a sign showing where the check in counter was! Random people outside on lawn chairs when we pulled in. And the microwave started running on its own at night. And the whole rooms electric was ran off a button by the door that you have to push in for any electric to be on in the room. The whole thing was just weird.

There was fruit flies flying around, and there was no air conditioning in the room. The walls and ceilings are in desperate need of repair and new paint.

Do not stay here! Mold in the bathroom around tub. Water was brown and ceiling tiles were moldy and had holes in them. Paint is peeling off the walls. Floor was never vacuumed, disgusting and sticky. Blood on the bathroom light switch. I wont even mention the bed and sheets. I have pictures.

Do NOT recommend

I only booked this hotel due to no availability elsewhere for my son’s wrestling tournament. It smelled of urine, wasn’t very clean and had no cable. The bathroom door didn’t even lock. I would not recommend staying here again and would drive further for a better hotel.

Nice room off the beaten path

We were offered a very late check out. The jacuzzi was very deep and large enough for 2, though it was a little challenging to get into and out of. The staff were very friendly, the suite we stayed in had a couch in the living room and a second powder room. Would definitely stay again

I had to leave early and stay at a real hotel. The cleaners clean too late in the day. The room seemed unsanitary. I did not realize until the day I decided to check out early that the smoke detector and the battery were disconnected. The bathroom had a normal room ceiling and was not the traditional ceiling found in a bathroom. I think this was the reason why my son and I got sick. The tiles above should not be placed in a bathroom and are probably a serious health hazard. I will not be using this place ever again and will advise everyone I know to not stay there and why they shouldn't. They also seemed to not care that I checked out a day early and were more interested in explaining why I wouldn't get any of my money back. I do not know how Expedia even has them as an option to use. I also think that there should be an option to get a refund if you have to leave prior to the checkout date due to the reasons I put in this review. I would be ashamed of myself if I counted on getting good service and instead have my health put in danger.
