"Loved the woman at the front desk when we checked in. Very funny and personable. We asked for a pet-friendly room on the ground floor which we received. There is a beautiful park just down the street that faces the river. Breakfast was good, although the dining area is very small. No problem taking a tray back to our room. We will definitely stay here again."

Richards Landing-St Joseph Island

"We enjoyed our stay very much; the home was in a quiet neighborhood, close to the market, shops and parks and we were able to walk our dogs to the marina and back in a short time. The home was very clean and the kitchen completely equipped for us to prepare and eat meals when we wanted. It was less than a ten-minute drive to Sailor’s Encampment, where we were able to watch freighters - close up, that were going up the river to the locks. We learned from a friendly local that once a freighter passes by at Sailor’s Encampment, you can quickly drive up A Line and Hume’s Standard roads to Stribling Point Park, and watch it again.Out host was friendly, polite and quick to respond to all our questions. We always enjoy exploring St. Joseph Island and look forward to our next visit."
