"This hotel is an absolute delight. The bungalows are well appointed with excellent air conditioning (much needed), the grounds are filled with interesting plants having been designed and planted by the owners and everything is immaculate. The bar and restaurant area are imaginately designed and the menu delivered by a talented young chef they lured from Tana. He has his own ideas based on Malagasy and international cuisine and quite frankly, having spent 7 weeks in Mada, itā€™s the best food...

Top Joffreville Hotel Reviews

Royal Sakalava

Royal Sakalava

10/10 Excellent
"What makes this hotel amazing is not just the stunning location but the beautiful sweet lady who manages the day to day, cleans and serves the restaurant. Regretfully i have forgotten her name but i want to thank her again for the sandwiches she made for our day out to the Amber mountains, her kindness, her smile and efforts to understand us when we donā€™t speak french. Grilled fish and seafood was fresh and tasty at the bar and if you are not into kitesurfing, I dare to say the walks along the white sandy Sakalava bay and its turquoise sea may give you a similar sense of freedom and peace"
