Execellent property , heritage , had the best stay at nirvana . The rooms were spacious enough and very hygenic . The staff is very helpful . It is located right at the center of the city and parking is available nearby even the staff helps you with it . The property is more than 200 years old . I would recommend this place to everyone.the car comes beneath the property after the market closes

I had a wonderful stay at Nirvana Home. The rooms were spacious, clean, and very well maintained. Hygiene was top-notch, with fresh linens and spotless bathrooms, which made the stay extremely comfortable. The staff deserves special appreciation — they were polite, helpful, and always available whenever needed. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and the overall hospitality was warm and welcoming. The property has a peaceful and homely vibe, making it perfect for a relaxing stay. Overall, a great experience with excellent service, cleanliness, and comfort. I would definitely recommend Nirvana Homes and would love to stay here again.

Magnífico

O hotel é incrivel. Muito bonito e fica na rua do mercado. Bem localizado, próximo ao Fort, poço Toorji Ka Jhalra e outros pontos turísticos. A comida é boa e eles podem preparar os pratos sem pimenta para quem não está acostumado. Atendimento excepcional, os meninos são incrivelmente atenciosos e gentis. Também me ajudaram a tirar fotos na propriedade, pois viajei sozinha. Foi perfeito, recomendo!

A piece of heaven in a frenetic area of Jodhpur. Great location to Clock Tower markets. Roof top restaurant with delicious freshly prepared food and great views of the Fort at night. Beautiful internal pot plant gardens to add to peacefulness. Staff all very obliging and friendly.

This property is right in the market area and yet quiet and calm. A variety of birds fly around the roof during breakfast with fort as a backdrop and violet temple in the foreground— kinda dreamy. We were in the temple room with old paintings on one wall. I think the dust rolling in from the street is a constant. Very convenient for shopping and getting tuktuk.

This property is good only for backpackers who have a small piece of luggage. Firstly this hotel is in a busy busy narrow street and very hard to reach thru a car from 10 AM to 9 PM as there are shops all along the road. Secondly you can enter to the hotel only via 15 stairs which are not easily visible from the road..you have to ask around. I did not feel safe to park my car as there were a bunch of youths sitting every few feet on the road until midnight. Hotel does not take any responsibility. Though conveniently located and having a nice view of Mehrangarh fort, its not suitable for families. But on the positive side, their service makes up a bit for the lack of infrastructure.

The location was very convenient for sight seeing. And they kindly allowed me to leave my suitcase at hotel during my camel safari. On the other hand, I had two problems here. 1. One of the circulators in my room was very noisy and I couldn't keep my room at the comfortable temperature for sleep. 2. It was difficult to communicate with a staff in English.

The hotel is located deep inside a busy market lane, with access permitted only on foot. No car or autorickshaw can reach the hotel entrance, which makes arrival and departure quite inconvenient—especially for travellers with luggage. While the hotel did send two staff members to help carry the bags, the rough walk through the lane resulted in the luggage wheels getting badly damaged. The hotel offers paid parking at a separate location. When I was asked to pay ₹300 for parking, I strongly objected, after which the staff agreed to waive the charge. This should ideally be clarified upfront to avoid unnecessary discomfort for guests. The rooms themselves are very basic and poorly maintained. They feel dingy, and housekeeping appears to be inadequate—cobwebs were clearly visible behind the doors and inside the cupboards, which is unacceptable even for a budget property. The only real positive is the rooftop kitchen and dining area, which offers a lovely view of Mehrangarh Fort. Unfortunately, this alone is not enough to compensate for the overall experience. Considering the location challenges, lack of cleanliness, and basic room quality, I would not recommend this hotel.

Very Good

This hotel is in the heart of the old town. The markets of Jodhpur are full of saris for sale, spices and fresh fruit & veg. We really enjoyed our stay here.

Very disappointing stay at Nirvana, so much so that we checked out to stay somewhere else. When we arrived the room looked NOTHING like the photos online. It was dirty, dark and smelt of stale tobacco smoke. The place was not well kept, the walls needed painting, it smelt, the furnishings were old and chipped etc etc. When we checked out the staff didn't even acknowledge us.

Staying in an old palace in the middle of market was an Authentic experience. Location was great. Walking distance to fort, blue city and clock tower. Staff were very nice and accommodative. The only issues were that we didn’t always get hot water for shower and wifi. Their laundry service was weak as well. Overall a nice experience

Inside the hotel it is peaceful and quiet although there is a prayer service in Temple in hotel at 5am which wakes you up. But you do fall asleep again. It is a former Temple and is quite impressive so expect some disturbance is fine. WiFi and air con are excellent. Staff very helpful and pleasant. Executive room was spacious and clean. Location is very good and can walk to many sites. A good meal for a non vegetarian is not to be found anywhere nearby. Restaurant in hotel but never saw anyone in it. Saw no other guests in hotel either for that matter. But I was happy with my stay compared to other hotel options in jodhpur. Although I had executive room I had no window and the door opened onto the front office desk area and there was quite often people outside the room talking. No English channels on TV, no bottled water, no safe, no housekeeping for my 4 days but was given soap etc when I asked at reception. No washing machine on site and laundry service not cheap. I was allowed to checkout late at no charge to catch an afternoon train. Very grateful for that. I feel I paid way too much for the executive room all things considered. The hotel has plenty of potential but a few minor things need to improve to justify price.

The property is very far from the tourist attractions and is in a mid of chaotic bazaar. The cost of accommodation is expensive as compared to the hotel's ambience and accessories in the room. Its was an extremely bad deal.

Basic hotel, nice restaurant staff, poor bathroom

Basic hotel was good. Restaurant staff were very friendly and attentive. However we were very disappointed with the basic cleanliness in both our bathrooms. It only needed a good scrub and some perfumed cleaning fluid.

A beautiful piece of heritage property the owners are rightfully proud of. Remarkably quiet once you step inside the compound and escape the frenetic market activity on the street outside. I loved my room which was probably roomier than others in the hotel—go for the executive option if possible. The hotel is staffed by a group of cheerful young men who are still learning their stripes as hoteliers. Charm and enthusiasm though more than make up for the level of efficiency. The front desk may not be as reliable as some in the city in helping you set up tourism and travel options. Still, with historic charm and comfort, plus value for money, Nirvana home is a superb place to stay
