The big surprise was that we were there to attend the Paul Simon concert at the Orpheum and the first thing we saw from the window of our room was the entry to the Orpheum Otherwise a really nice little hotel with very pleasant staff - met 3 diff. shifts - aging building but nice decor, much prefer that to the typical standardized, sanitized newer hotels. Bed was very comfortable. Two restaurants downstairs - very good service and reasonable prices.

At the close of the Ice Age about 10,000 years ago, a stream fed by melting ice cascaded over a falls forming this chasm by cutting into some of the lava flows that helped to build the Fraser Plateau.
