「The place needs a complete clean up, starting from the carpets they smell very musty and the bathroom has mould in the shower, not recommended if you like a clean environment.」

「We stayed two nights and it was a comfortable stay. Cleanly maintained and the staff can be quickly reached by the phone or in person who are all nice people.」

「Mattress was in very poor condition with broken springs. Saw Cockroaches in the cabin on two occasions. TV chromecast did not work and very popr customer service. We have stayed at Tasman Parks in the past and would now reconsider. When we were ready to leave we realised that the conditions required us to strip bed linen and place in laundry bags and take out the rubbish. Which we did. At the rates charged this is completely unreasonable.」

「Loved the ambience of this house filled with so many period features. Even better were our hosts David and Lindy who went out of their way to obtain help for me when I fell ill during the night and required hospitalization. The following day, David drove my partner to the hospital to pick me up. A stay at The Laurels is like visiting with old friends, sitting in the living room with other guests of an evening with a glass of wine and a selection of snacks. Breakfast could not have been better....

「Easy access on highway,easy park outside unit. Spotless clean rooms, older with modern decor & well maintained, as was pool. Really comfy bed & good old fashioned hospitality from the hostess. Did not need aircon, used roof fan - lovely. 」

「Arrived late, note on reception door to locate keys , easy peasy. Room was spot on, even found an corneto ice cream in the kitchenette freezer. Not good as we had to fight over who ate it! Handy spot with good rooms」

The private rooms are very comfortable, and we were lucky to have a lovely terrace overlooking the garden, which made our experience even more enjoyable. The owners were kind and friendly. Breakfast was very good overall; in my opinion, it could be improved with a bit more fresh fruit and some savory options (such as eggs and ham). Overall, the price-quality ratio is excellent, and we would definitely recommend staying here.」
