Nasty
The host is nice and responsive but this place is nasty. When we arrived outside there was a crackhead sitting outside the door. We walked into the building and it smelled horrible. You walk up 5 flights to the apartment. The inside was hot, musty. It looked like it was cleaned but was still just very run down and gross. My kids were scared to stay here. Big mistake on my part.

Not the stay I intended
To shortly summarize it the apartment was not guests ready clean and we saw a roach on our first night in the bathroom. Wont be staying again:)

Overall a good experience
We stayed for 2 days, overall the house is clean and most of our needs were met. Although, there was no paper towel available so we have to go buy it ourselves but there is a convenient store close by so it wasn't a hassle at all. Also, there were only 2 clean towels, wished there were more since we booked for 6 adults and 1 a baby. But it is a good thing I brought a couple of towels with me so it worked out good. The location is very convenient because it is so close to the Holland Tunnel, so getting in and out of New York is a breeze, the only downside is, outside the building there were a lot of dog poop left behind by dog owners so you really have to be careful walking because otherwise you would stepped on it, like most of my family members did. I know it is not the host's fault but maybe he can propose to the community leaders and set up signs to remind dog owners to pick up or clean up after their dogs. But overall, our experience is good and satisfied with out stay. Thank you to Luis, he is kind and accomodating, he has answered all my questions and kept in close contact with me, making sure our stay is as comfortable as possible.
