wanna see a contrast between rich and poor than hit a west end free beach then go to Jan Thiel.. Artificial beach and Artificial people.. This beach is located in the beverly hills of Curacao.. If you are into that Segregation by class type of beach that this is your place to go!..

Jan Thiel Beach was beautiful but crowded. The service at Zanzibar Restaurant was terrible and slow. It is definitely geared towards the European crowd. We had to ask for our drinks twice. Other guests sat around us after we had ordered our drinks and got them first. We felt people kept looking at us as if we didn’t belong there. My husband felt the same way. We had to get up and approach the waitress to pay or we would still be sitting there. No fish options either on their menu. I had to order a hamburger. Really!? Would not go back.
