Property under renovation. My door would not lock unless I slammed the door very hard. Many restaurant options in the area but no sidewalks for pedestrians. A big pet peeve for me when you want to walk the area. Parking was good as I was driving a U Haul truck. Staff were respectful and very helpful.

Considering they're currently painting and/or remodeling it was a rather pleasant stay. The staff are courteous and thorough. My dogs really liked it too!

The staff was excellent and professional. My first room was not clean. The overnight desk clerk got me a new room. She checked it over to make sure it was clean before I went in. She even offered to help me move my stuff. She was so polite and professional. The morning staff were nice and friendly. The breakfast assistant kept the eating area clean and the food items stocked. You have a great staff. Just make sure your housekeepers change the bed linens after every stay!

I was extremely disappointed in this La Quinta! I seek out this hotel chain no matter where I go and this place was disgusting and left little to be missed. I usually do not leave reviews, but felt this time it was needed.
Bathroom sink clogged with something and clearly not clean!
The shower wall and soap dish covered in grime and NOT clean!
Shower mat was disgusting and clearly had no been removed for cleaning!
Wall out by beside pulled off wall and exposed wiring!

During check in we had to wait because of shift change, at night when we returned there weren’t any HP spots and a man outside entrance was smoking pot, it appeared that there were homeless people staying there, doors were slamming shut at 3:00 am and upon leaving the odor of smoke lingering in the hallway, and the continental breakfast was very disappointing, saw a woman eating then gathered more food and headed back to her room. This hotel was a disappointment.

Total Eclipse

The room - particularly the bathroom was pretty shoddy. I am hoping the re-model includes the rooms. The staff was very pleasant and accommodating. The breakfast area clean and the breakfast really good. We felt safe enough to walk thru the loony and outside at 4am to view the eclipse.

The worse La Quinta Inn

I've been at La Quinta Inn several times, but this is the first time I've stayed in a very old, dirty, noisy (slamming doors, yelling, running thru corridors at late night). I have to go back to Jacksonville this coming week but I am not going back to La Quinta....so disappointed :(

Disappointed

Not in good condition. I realize “renovations” were taking place. But the hotel wasn’t clean. The smell of marijuana was overwhelming at times. The overall area/neighborhood is fine, but I wouldn’t recommend this property.

I paid for a renovated suite. Got to the property and was told there were no suites available. She said she was working on it and she did. However, it was not renovated, hair was in the bed and shower (water was not and never got hot), paint peeling off of the furniture, lights flickering (like a disco), toilet seat chipping, couch was stained and wet, table had a huge tar like patch of sticky stuff on it, people having a cookout in the parking lot at 2AM (two nights), I felt unsafe the entire stay.

The guest in the room next to us was extremely loud and the kids was even louder, Especially when you’re a no kid traveler. I understand kids are going to be kids but as parents we have to advise them of the convince of other guests. We called the front off and they came and knocked on the door and they did not answer but exactly 15 to 20 minutes later the noise was.back

Dated and disgusting.

This La Quinta is very dated and in need of an extreme update. The elevators have been trashed and smell. The swimming pool is not clean and the hot tub is in operable. I would not recommend anyone to stay at this hotel.

Roaches

We got to the room and were only in the room 5 minutes before realizing there were roaches in the room. We gathered our things and left immediately. The front desk said they would uncheck us and have the manager call us on Monday.
