"This is the best place we have EVER stayed at!!! The hosts, Stacey & Todd were so friendly and kind and made our get away incredible. The home truly felt like home. Thoughtful details were put into every aspect from the soap to the linens to everything you could need in the kitchen. The beds were super comphy. It was cozy sitting by the fireplace and taking a dip in the hot tub!!! A hot tub, fire pit, and lake…..what more could you want?!?!The wildlife was incredible….. turkey, loons, beaver, deer and a bear made it even more magical!!! Perfection!!!!We will definitely be back!!!!"

"Had a wonderful stay with my husband and 6yo daughter! Cabin was cozy, we used the included canoe as well as the community beach which was great! Hosts had excellent communication. Perfect location for seeing the sights including Itasca state park. Highly recommend!"

"House was fully furnished and had a cozy vibe! Easy to access and pet friendly. Host is fabulous and communicated well. Beautiful view of the lake and we watched the loons and ducks with their babies. We have seen many deer and fawns as well. The deck has plenty of room with patio tables and a gas grill. This is our second year staying here and will be family favorite for our summer vacations."

"Loved our stay at the Walt Acres cabin, nice and quiet off the highway about 5 miles on a gravel road. Lots of wildlife from the birds, deer and turkeys and even a baby fox. Easy drive into town and a few good places to eat not so far away. Would recommend and stay again if in the area. Thanks for sharing your cabin with us and the family history. "

"It is our first time in a cabin for my wife, our 4 children and I, we have stayed in hotels of different categories and really the cleanliness and comfort of this cabin in the middle of a beautiful forest and on the shores of a large lake with very clean water, leaves us very pleased, we barely checked out and the children already asked when we would return, in addition the boat rental that they recommended to us provided a wonderful service and with excellent care and attention, I recommend this resort 100%"
