When I stayed at BZN Airport Hotel in November, it was very affordable. The staff were extremely friendly, and the hotel arranged transportation both to the hotel and back to the airport. The dinner I was served was large and incredibly tasty. My overall experience was superb, and I plan to stay at this hotel again when I return to Istanbul.

One of the staff threatened me to punch in my face. The reason simply was that I caught them overcharging for the shuttle bus 80 euros instead of 45 which was priorly agreed upon.

The hotel itself is very good compared to the price. They also arrange taxi services with reasonable prices. However, the owner persuades to pay with cash and to spend more money. Getting a receipt is also very difficult and they refuse to give customers valid receipts that can be used to claim expenses. Furthermore, the hotel didn’t offer breakfast despite promises.

When checking in, the owner/receptionist asked how much I paid and said it is for a small room. He tried to charge me more for the room with a double bed until I showed him what I paid for online which is the double bed. They also claimed to offer transportation to the airport for a fee and that Uber isn't reliable. I booked one with them thinking they have their own car/driver but instead they went through a regular Uber order but charged me extra for organizing it.

I booked this hotel through Expedia for an overnight layover after traveling from California through Chicago and Frankfurt. My Expedia reservation showed airport shuttle/transfer included. I had someone at the airport call the hotel, and they sent a driver without EVER mentioning an additional $45 charge. At the hotel they demanded $45. When I showed them my Expedia reservation, what should have been a simple discussion escalated from one employee to FOUR men confronting me. The owner talked over me and accused me of wanting “everything for free.” I never asked for anything free—I asked for what my reservation said was included. Expedia later confirmed to me that there should not have been an additional charge. The next morning I ordered my OWN taxi. Hotel staff spoke to my driver, and he initially wouldn’t leave. When I walked away, employees followed me outside, yelled at me, called me names and told me to shut up. Police became involved, and after about 45 minutes I was allowed to leave while the hotel was told to handle the dispute with Expedia. As a woman traveling alone in a foreign country, I felt extremely intimidated and unsafe. The room was also poorly maintained: toilet paper hanging from the door handle, terrible shampoo, old uncomfortable pillows and almost no soundproofing. I could hear neighboring guests using the bathroom. The lobby/breakfast area smelled like cigarette smoke. I have traveled internationally and have NEVER experienced treatment like this.

Diğer gün uçağımız vardı, havaalanına yakın diye tuttuk, en üst katta kaldık, asansör kumanda odasının tık tık sesinden sabaha kadar uyuyamadık, girdiğimizde odanın tuvaleti kirliydi, lobiye söylediğimizde boş oda var olmasına rağmen oda değiştirmek yerine tuvaleti temizlediler, yorgan kılıfları kirliydi, sabah lobiye indiğimizde, temizlik görevlileri "ay bunların küçük çocuğu varmış, şimdi oda çok kirlidir" diye fısıldaşıyorlardı. Sanki temizliyorlarmış gibi.
